Losing fat doesn’t have to be boring, the secret is high volume food.

What does it mean?
It means that we need to prioritise those food that are lower in calorie density but fuel our bodies and give us sense of satiety.

Loading up in fruit and vegetables is an on old trick. It’s one of them!

PROGRESSION not PERFECTION

I picked a card for you today and this is what came up.

One little step each day is better than one big step for 3 days and then give up because it’s overwhelming and then might as well restart on Monday and then it’s 3 days on and 12 days off, then you finally save up enough courage to start up again. Go all in and repeat 🤪🔁

Be REALISTIC with your goals. Something small that you could do each day like, eat veggies at each meal, will build on the habit of taking care of yourself and habit builds on habit. No quick fixes sorry!

LET GO

Today I finally let go the sense of overwhelm that has been killing me for the last few days.

The TO DO lists keep growing and nothing gets done, no relax either. It’s a cycle.
Start with one step they say. The problem is the overwhelm so big that is paralyzing.
So I changed perspective and the things the I usually do in the morning.

And yes today I took the first step, completed one big task and then allowed myself to rest, enjoy and express my creativity that arose with it. Feeling blessed with this view and inner peace.
Second step will be repeat.

Repetition builds habit.

Let’s see how we go tomorrow.
I’m doing my best and I’m letting go the hard voice in my head.

Also sleep deprivation is not good!
Makes everything so much harder and the worst decisions are made when sleep deprived.

MEAT FREE MONDAY

I like to have one day in the week where I don’t have meat. Not because meat is bad for you, just to promote variety. Usually this day I cook some legumes (chickpeas, lentils, beans etc). They contain good protein although not the same quality and amount as in meat and fish.

💎keep frozen veggies in the freezer, they’re ready to use and rich in micronutrients
💎buy your protein in bulk and keep in the freezer ready to use (sliced, chopped, etc)
