I’m currently completing further studies with the Female Fundamentals Practitioner course. I’ve been diving deeper into the foundations that genuinely move the needle for women’s health - things like muscle, protein, minerals, sleep and nervous system regulation.

These are the pillars that support our hormones, energy, mood and long-term wellbeing, and I’m so excited to bring this knowledge into my care for women in their 20s, 30s and beyond.

“OMG my nervous system is SO disregulated!?” Let’s take a little look at what that actually means. As humans we have two main systems that we need to be able to switch between easily and effectively.
These states are the SYMPATHETIC state (flight and fight) and the PARASYMPATHETIC state (rest and digest).

Both are essential and equally as important. A regulated nervous system should be able to switch between both of them easily and, adapting to your surrounding needs. Eg. if you are getting chased by a lion your SYMAPTHETIC state would activate

Unfortunately due to the stresses of today’s society, some people get stuck in their SYMPATHETIC state and find it hard to switch back into the PARASYMPATHETIC state, therefore creating a DYSREGUALTED nervous system.

Some of these systems may include Fatigue, Tightness in the Neck and Shoulders, Consistently stressed, Headaches, and Feeling run down.
