Martin Street Dentists is a privately owned 3 chair practice in the heart of North Brighton focused on quality dental care for the whole family. The practice has over 70 years of history and a completely updated state of the art facilities. However, the core of our practice are our people. We have great dentists, a professional and skilled team and loyal patients.

We are looking for a new member to join our team as a dental assistant in a full time role - some reception duties available if desired.

Martin Street Dentists is an independent, privately owned dental surgery with 3 long term Dentists, located in the heart of North Brighton, VIC. With over 70 years of history we have newly renovated rooms and a team that is passionate about delivering the highest quality dentistry for the whole family – preventive, restorative, cosmetic and complex work. Our dentists are experienced professionals who pride themselves on delivering the best long term outcomes for patients.

We are looking for a motivated experienced practice manager to join our team. The practice manager will coordinate daily practice functions, flow of patients through the practice, work well with our team of highly skilled receptionists, assistants and dentists and help grow the business. This role combines leadership and day to day operational tasks.

Main Responsibilities
- Reception duties and management of clients - appointments, confirmations, management of each dentists book.
- Manage challenging cases
- Recalls and communication with existing clients
- Ordering and stock management throughout the practice
- Management of equipment protocols
- Rostering of staff
- Prepare the business for accreditation

Key attributes
-Team player – we are a small team so everyone works hard, we need someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all areas of the business.
-Great communication skills – written and verbal. We are looking for someone that is warm, caring and professional
-Proven track record in the dental industry
-Creative thinker and good problem solving skills
-Keen attention to detail
-Solid computer skills – Microsoft office

Desirable attributes
-Experienced as a dental assistant so can fill in if required.
-Experience with D4W
-Previous practice manager experience

The role will be approximately 30 hours a week spread over 4 to 5 days. Timing is negotiable for the right candidate.

Renumeration is top tier and based on skills offered.
