It's my pleasure to share with you information about myself to help you feel comfortable to reach out for support. Since experiencing the benefits of Reiki energy & emotions healing myself, I became a certified practitioner to be able to support people on their wellness journey. I began my business journey and created Sunrise Healing. My search for natural health support and DIY cleaning alternatives lead me to doTerra essential oils. I became a doTerra Wellness Advocate so I could share my experiences and essential oil education with people. I love the positive difference these gifts from the earth provide for myself and my family. My journey with the spirit realm began 12 years ago when I learnt to connect with my spirit guides and channel messages of guidance. I have found that providing card readings and Higher Self readings has helped people gain a sense of clarity and peace to support them move forward on their journey. This is all part of the beautiful tapestry of my life. Prior to this awakening I worked in Human Resources for 20 years in large & small organisations. Before entering the corporate world, I taught children gymnastics & learn to swim. My number one strength is Positivity and I'm naturally a happy person. I enjoy connecting with people and have a genuine, warm and caring nature. I am in touch with my little girl within and we really like the beach, walking in nature, playing games, making sandcastles and doing handstands in the water. I believe that when we are ready for a new pathway an opportunity will present itself. There may be a turn of events that come out of nowhere and blindside us and life as we know it changes lightening fast. Other times we'll become inquisitive and curious, we'll ask questions, explore and discover, and feel a readiness for something else, something more, something different. We'll become open to new opportunities and experiences and we'll become ready to listen (this is an important one - believe me !). My Turn of Event arrived in 2013 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a lumpectomy the next day (you heard right). Our 10 year old son is intuitive and smart so I needed to explain honestly, for his years, why I was suddenly going into hospital for a few days. I'm so pleased my loving husband was by my side to support me. A few weeks later ink marked the spot and radiation began. Along with it came a sensitivity to heat and sound which I wasn't expecting and didn't understand initially. If you've had a similar experience or supported someone you love you'll be aware of the cycle of appointments with specialists and the roller coaster of emotions, overwhelm and change that can occur. I didn't feel like myself anymore. I felt different inside. I'm so grateful my Mum was able to fly to Brisbane to be with us during that period. She let me Be Me even when I was learning who this new version was. Four years later came my opportunity for change. I accepted redundancy from my HR position. A few days prior I'd had my 12month check up with my breast surgeon, Dr Chris Pyke. I thank the Divine Creator for putting him on this earth. He is a lovely, caring and kind man whose blue eyes I could swim in. That day when he asked me how I was feeling I started to cry and couldn't really explain it. I simply wasn't feeling right and had no clue why. He was kind enough to make a call downstairs to the Mater Chicks In Pink and I went and had a chat with them. On reflection I can share with you that accepting the redundancy allowed me to "let go", enjoy a family holiday in our caravan and then let life unfold. During the next six months I saw family in NSW and enjoyed school drop offs and pick ups with our son. I was also applying for HR roles. Sometime later I had a Reiki session and asked the practitioner where she learnt the modality. It was my third session over a period of time and I was curious to expand my hands on healing experience. I later met with her Reiki Master and we discussed my experience and spiritual development. I completed my Reiki Level I and Level II training to become a certified practitioner. I am so please I am about to embark on my Reiki Master journey. At this time I began to query whether my path forward was in HR or Healing. I was told the path forward was Healing. I wasn't ready for the answer initially and kept applying for HR roles. I could have saved myself a return cab fare into the inner city for a job interview if I had listened. I asked for guidance again and received the same answer....Healing. With the loving support of my husband and son the Sunrise Healing room was created. My interest in natural health solutions lead me to doTerra essential oil products. Over the last 3.5 years I've explored more ways to support our emotional wellbeing and immune health. I've discovered DIY cleaning is so empowering and I've switched expensive store bought products for ones that I like to make myself. I used to think that I had to choose one path...that it was either healing, intuitive guidance or essential oils. It took some time and then I realised that these gifts from the earth and the divine realm all intertwine to support eachother and support my clients on their journey.
