We suffer when we try to control our environment. We can’t really control anything except ourselves.

It’s so freeing to step back and like the Buddhists say…… unless it’s to do with our own eating sleeping etc , it’s not our business.

Sometimes we don’t realize we try to control others sometimes thinking it’s for their own good? But it’s not our journey or our responsibility to change someone.

Releasing control even of our own behaviors brings us great peace.🙏

Such a great experience exploring what Human Longevity does in San Francisco to extend people’s lives without disease.

Futuristic, innovative and proactive medicine is the future of wellness. As we know prevention is better than cure.

The yogis knew this therefore they espoused the yoga way of life to universally reduce suffering.

Yes the world we live in has changed dramatically….. financial pressures, global unrest and violence and daily stressors. If we can’t control certain situations, either letting go of the tension associated with negative thoughts, find positive things that overwhelm the sadness, frustration and grief.

Laughter is food for the soul, but I hardly see laughter and a twinkle in people’s eyes anymore:( Connecting with friends who can ignite a good old belly laugh, watching a funny movie or reading a ridiculous book are some ways to break out of the worry cycle.
Fake it till you make it if that inner fun is struggling to come out.

There are actually laughing schools for depression. They’re onto something!

When I first started practicing yoga daily it changed my life. The joy I live with is no doubt as a result of a daily dose of nurturing my body, mind and spirit.

The counsel I received from my teacher based on yoga philosophy gave me the tools to navigate life, find my inner strength and maintain healthy grounded relationships.

I’m forever grateful for my teachers and students and my own body and minds ability that has curated the most wonderful life experience.❤️❤️❤️

She is trained by world class yoga leaders and has been a celebrated key note speaker, most recently for the Australian Integrated Medical Association

  • Louise is multi-talented having written a children’s yoga book, “Hilda Does Yoga”, which is sold in local Melbourne book stores. She is currently undergoing study of the French language which she is integrating into Sri Yoga, instructing classes in French on certain dates of the year and also later this year in France
