Unfortunately we stay around bad behaviour for different reasons. Fear of losing friendships, dint want to rock the boat, don’t want to leave something familiar etc….
If your values and peace are compromised by someone else, it’s OK to step away. Boundaries are essential in all types of relationships. Valuing yourself means your environment is harmonious and conducive to your wellbeing.
The alternative is that you keep accepting bad behaviour and compromising yourself. No-one is worth that!
Self love is key to your happiness, key to good health and key to an enriched thriving life.❤️

We stay in negative situations unfortunately for different reasons. Fear of losing relationships, being alone, rocking the boat etc…. This only negatively impacts us.
If your peace and values don’t align with your friendships or surroundings, and you keep accepting bad behavior, ask the question Why? At what cost to you?
Valuing ourselves means we love ourselves enough to walk away from bad behavior. No it’s not easy sometimes but why compromise yourself. Stay alert, be confident and know your worth.❤️

Something as simple as your life giving breath can re-set your nervous system and stimulate your vagus nerve. Give yourself a 7 day challenge to consciously breathe inhaling fully, stop two sends, then exhale counting mentally…1234 etc until you’re empty. Try this eyes closed for one minute a day for 7 days.
Don’t force the breath just allow it to unfold.

Rewards:
Calm
Peace
Focus
Trigger the rest and digest response
Digest better
Sleep better
Feel better.

Extend to five minutes per day and reap the rewards!
Give scrolling a break and try this. It works!

  • Operating out of her Whyte Street studio in bayside Brighton, Founder and Principle Teacher Louise Godfrey has over 20 years of experience in her field. She is trained by world class yoga leaders and has been a celebrated key note speaker, most recently for the Australian Integrated Medical Association

  • Louise is multi-talented having written a children’s yoga book, “Hilda Does Yoga”, which is sold in local Melbourne book stores. She is currently undergoing study of the French language which she is integrating into Sri Yoga, instructing classes in French on certain dates of the year and also later this year in France

  • Sri Yoga & Meditation also offers annual yoga retreats within Australia and overseas, workshops, educational talks with visiting professionals in the wellness field, sound healing meditation classes, chanting and one on one yoga therapy.
