Hi Everyone,

At Achieve Disability Supports we are connecting with many services within our local community, throughout Moreton Bay and the greater Brisbane. We would like for you to know these services and opportunities too. We will begin regularly sharing with you about a variety of topics and hope you find this information helpful.

As we head to the end of the financial year, we thought we would start with many of the financial services available for you.

Michelle one of our support workers and the community liaison officer for Achieve, recently completed the Saver Plus program. The five online sessions she attended had great information about all things to do with money and you receive further information after each session. It was a very worthwhile program and is highly recommend for anyone who would be eligible and wants to improve how they use it and relate to it. (See the brochure below for more details).

Saver Plus is a 10-month savings program that provides financial education to help build essential skills for managing money and becoming a regular saver. Upon completion, ANZ will match your savings, up to $500, for education-related costs for you or your children. This program assists eligible participants the opportunity to learn how to save $50.00 per month for 10 months. After the savings period, you will have money to go towards educational expenses for your children studying or expenses if you are studying yourself.

We are urgently looking for our next cleaning person. We are a disability and aged care service based Moreton Bay. We provide care services through our Moreton Bay and Brisbane Northside. Currently we have cleaning shifts available in Stafford,Deception Bay,Kippa Ring. Our clients needs a good reliable cleaner, someone who is through,friendly and efficient.
Must have Blue Card,Police Check and worker screening Check. It would even be better if you were a qualified support worker, someone we could call on when there are emergency shifts.
This job is not full time would suit someone just wanting a few hours a week.
