I started my yoga journey during the first COVID lockdown in 2019. I have been posting and documenting on my Instagram my journey of fitness, wellness and mind healing which increased my passion and love for yoga. I took my self-taught yoga into professionalism and have started taking classes to teach others. In this process of my love and passion for yoga, I discovered my name and identity for my yoga business, "Jyogini's Journey", which summarises my path towards yoga. I have been teaching classes for an educational school holiday camp called Happy Hobby Hour Junior, where I teach children aged 9 to 14. This has given me the passion and interest to teach kids, and it gives me inner happiness to be able to teach and help children develop their fitness skills and confidence for a healthy mind, body and soul.

Yoga Off The Mat – Day 1 🌿
Using your non-dominant hand

Yoga is about awareness, balance, and stepping outside our automatic habits.

A simple way to practice this off the mat is by using your non-dominant hand for small daily tasks — brushing your teeth, opening doors, or holding a cup.

This small shift challenges the brain, improves coordination, and builds mindfulness in everyday actions.

From a scientific perspective, using your non-dominant hand stimulates different neural pathways and helps strengthen brain connections.

And from a yogic perspective, it reminds us to slow down and stay present.

Small actions can bring big awareness.

Because yoga is not only something we practice on the mat…
it’s something we bring into everyday life.

From chaos to calmness 🤎

Yoga Off The Mat 🌿

Yoga is not just something we practice on the mat for one hour a day.

It’s the small habits we bring into our daily life — how we breathe, how we move, how we eat, and how we take care of our mind and body.

In this series, we’ll share simple Ayurvedic and yogic practices that can support your wellbeing every day.

Small steps. Simple rituals. Real balance.

Because yoga doesn’t end when the class ends.

It continues off the mat.

From chaos to calmness 🤎

Pranayama Part2

Your body is not just physical —
it is energy in motion.

The 5 Prana Vayus are the subtle currents of life force
guiding how you breathe, digest, express,
release, and circulate energy.

✨ Prana – Receive
✨ Apana – Release
✨ Samana – Transform
✨ Udana – Express
✨ Vyana – Expand

When these five are in balance,
your body, mind & emotions move in harmony.

Awareness of breath is the beginning 🤍

Save this for your yoga journey.

Today we honour the strength, grace, and resilience of women everywhere. 🌸

In yoga, feminine energy represents creation, intuition, compassion, and inner power. It reminds us that true strength is not just in force, but in balance, patience, and flow.

May every woman feel empowered to move freely, breathe deeply, and live with confidence in her own journey.

Celebrate your strength.
Celebrate your calm.
Celebrate the beautiful energy within you.

Happy International Women’s Day 💫

Small rituals. Big impact. 🌿

A gentle reminder from February — it’s never too late to start taking care of your body and mind.

✨ Pranayama
Simple breathing practices that calm the mind, reduce stress, and bring clarity.

✨ Malasana
A grounding pose that strengthens the lower body, improves flexibility, and supports healthy digestion.

✨ Fasting
In Ayurveda, mindful fasting gives the digestive system a chance to rest and helps the body reset.

Wellness doesn’t require big changes.
Just small, consistent steps.

Start today. Your body will thank you.

Wisdom Sutras 💖🔯✨

When aim is to only perform physical practice, you are not practicing Yoga but you are feeding your ego!!!

That’s what my practice use to be… but during the journey, the path becomes more clear and visible!!!!

Now my physical practice involves the movements from muscle memory to keep the joints & muscles active….

Now the aim is not just to show the muscles but to show up in meditation consciously & consistently….

Now the aim is to actually understand the true meaning of YOGA🧘‍♀️🌿🔯

Your breath is your anchor.

Pranayama is more than breathing —
it’s a way to reset your nervous system,
clear your mind,
and reconnect with your inner calm.

Just a few mindful minutes can:

✨ Calm stress
✨ Improve lung capacity
✨ Increase focus
✨ Boost energy
✨ Balance your emotions

Sit comfortably.
Close your eyes.
Breathe with awareness.

Save this & practice tomorrow 🤍

It helps release stress and reconnect you to stability — physically and emotionally.

Chaturanga Dandasana 🔥

The real strength is in the lowering.

Not rushing.
Not collapsing.
Not chasing the next pose.

Just control.
Just awareness.
Just steady breath.

Chaturanga builds more than muscle —
it builds discipline.

From chaos to calmness 🤎

haturanga Dandasana
(Four-Limbed Staff Pose)

Strength is built in the slow lowering.

Chaturanga teaches control — not collapse.
Alignment — not ego.
Stability — not speed.

This powerful pose:

✨ Strengthens arms, shoulders & wrists
✨ Activates deep core muscles
✨ Builds upper body endurance
✨ Improves posture & body awareness
✨ Develops mental resilience

It’s not about how low you go.
It’s about how steady you stay.

Move with intention.
Lower with control.
Hold your strength.

From chaos to calmness 🤎
