Don’t underestimate the power of a single oil like Lime to transform the energy in your space.
Lime is uplifting and energising. Lime chases away negative energy and invites you to feel hopeful and enthusiastic.
Lime is a good oil for protection against “evil spirits “ and can also purify the environment it is being diffused in.
Lime can bring a feeling of sunshine and warmth to a cooler climate and help us dream and create magical things.

Purification: here are some suggested items to purify a space, your altar or yourself
To make your space spiritually clean before you practice a ritual , commence healing work , create an altar or relax consider the following : ( all available online at aromaticsforwellbeing.com)

Bay leaves can be placed in areas also.
I carefully select incense for ritual use. I ensure they do not contain synthetic fragrances and unnecessary additives. I also choose them based on their source , fair trade , ecological and consensual from small communities.

Aromatherapy is not a trend and it certainly isn’t one to me. I can’t stand trends especially in what is considered a sacred field. The use of aromatics is ancient and has been utilised by many people all over this world.
What I know is that by using essential oils, incense or the burning of plant matter you can shift the energy of a space and can improve the wellbeing of those experiencing the aroma. It will enhance and empower ritual practices.

It’s been a minute since I last posted. I have just returned from a brief trip to Singapore & Malaysia. I had some amazing experiences. I feel so lucky to be able to work with plant based aromatics in my professional and private life.
Scent has always been a significant part of ritual and spiritual practice. I was fortunate to witness this when visiting temples and places of worship where the smell of oud , smoke and incense permeates the atmosphere, entering perfume shops in Kampong Glam in Singapore to visiting a shop that specialises in Agarwood for spiritual and medicinal purposes .
I love to fill my home with beautiful oils and incense and they are integrated daily into my private spiritual practices. I use them as an aid to divination when working with tarot. I apply them to myself for health and simply for their beauty.
They impact our psyche and affect our moods. They connect us to other realms and can draw the attention of the spirit world. They are deeply healing and our soul recognises and remembers scents through memories from this life and others.
I cannot imagine my life without the beautiful awareness of nor the daily ritual of scent.
