The “Physiological Sigh” Trick 😌 (Kid-Friendly & Grown-Up Approved!)

Looking for a fast, simple way to help your little one (or yourself) dial down the tension? This two-step breathing trick can work wonders — no special equipment required.

1️⃣ Take two quick inhales through your nose, one right after the other.
2️⃣ Exhale slowly and steadily through your mouth.
3️⃣ Repeat for a few breath cycles.

🤷🏻‍♀️ Why it helps: By taking a double inhale and a long exhale, you help your body clear excess CO₂ and switch into relaxation mode. Kids often enjoy the playful rhythm, find that second inhale hilarious and bonus points if you make your sigh audible!
