Check on your pregnant friends… 🤰😂🤍 they’re probably nesting 🪺 and doing way more than they should be 🧺🧹💦

Pregnancy (and honestly, being a woman in general) is wild 🌪️💫 One minute you feel like you can conquer the world 💪🔥, the next your body’s like “absolutely not today” 😅🫠

We’re often told as women that we can do anything — and yes, we absolutely can ✨👑But just because we can, doesn’t always mean we should 🤍💭 Food for thought.

As pelvic floor physios looking after women for over 15 years, we understand 🤍 We advocate for and empower women to be and do anything 🙌✨But let’s also be real — we need to encourage each other to rest 💤🛌, slow down 🧘‍♀️🌿, and nurture our bodies through all the different stages of life 🤍🌸

Our bodies go through so many changes — physically, hormonally, emotionally… it’s a lot 🌀💗

So here’s your reminder to be kind to yourself 🤍✨

To all women, in every season of life — respect 🙌💖

💩🚨 DON’T HOLD YOUR POO 🚨💩

Sarah, our incredible pelvic floor physio and amazing mum of two 👶👶, shares one of her TOP tips for everyone:

👉 Respond to the urge to go!

When your body tells you it’s time to empty your bowels 🚽 — listen to it 👂✨
Don’t delay, don’t ignore it ❌

Holding on can lead to:
⚡ Constipation
⚡ Hemorrhoids
⚡ Pelvic pain flare-ups
⚡ Worsening symptoms for conditions like endometriosis

🤰 This is especially important during pregnancy and in the early postnatal period 🤱
Your body is healing — no matter how you gave birth 💛

🚫 One of the worst things you can do?
Straining on a healing body or wound 😣

✨ Be kind to your body
✨ Go when you need to
✨ Support your pelvic floor

Your body is always communicating with you — trust it 💫💛

💛 You can see Sarah for a personalised assessment and treatment approach
— no matter your stage of life ✨

Whether it’s:
🤰 Pregnancy
🌸 Perimenopause
🌺 Menopause
⚡ Pelvic pain
💧 Incontinence
🌿 Prolapse symptoms

Thank you to our beautiful patients for all your kind messages and for checking in on us as we step into this new chapter with our clinics 🤍✨

Our wonderful team, Jules and Sarah, have thriving across Belmont, Morningside, and Stafford Heights 🌿🏥💫

Behind the scenes, Saba has been working hard to keep everything running smoothly 💻✨ While she’s in the final stages of third trimester pregnancy and not seeing patients in person (baby arriving very soon 👶🤍), there’s been a lot happening from home 🏡💛

A little real talk from Saba & perhaps controversial opinions … 🤍
With a history of endometriosis 🌸 I thought my tolerance for the challenges that can come with pregnancy would be higher — but it’s been humbling in ways I didn’t expect ✨

We are so lucky to support so many women through pregnancy 🤰🤍 and going through it myself has deepened my respect for this journey even more 🙏✨

I feel incredibly grateful to be pregnant 🤍🌿 but like many women, I’ve felt the physical and emotional changes deeply — fatigue, nausea, aches, and all the unknowns 🤍

Our job is to empower women to keep moving & not see pregnancy as an illness or symptom. But hello- for many , pregnancy comes with many serious & challenging symptoms- let’s be honest and not sugar coat it 💛

And the mum guilt is already there… feeling like I haven’t done enough or prepared enough for our little one arriving soon 👶📚✨

I’m trying to practice what I preach — to slow down, rest more, accept my changing body, and remember I’m creating life 🤍🫶
We need to be kinder to ourselves as women 💛

I’m also taking my doctor’s advice and allowing more space for rest 🛌✨ and the baby books… we’ll see how we go 😅📚

If you’re feeling this way too — you are not alone 🤍✨

Even after 16 years as a physio supporting women through pregnancy, experiencing it myself has been one of the most humbling journeys 🤍✨

Welcome back, Sarah 🤍

After welcoming her beautiful baby girl into the world, we are so excited to have Sarah back from maternity leave!

For those of you who haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting her, Sarah has been part of the Circle of Life Physio family for about three years and is truly an asset to our team. She consistently goes above and beyond for her patients, all while being an incredible mum of two ✨

Over the years, Sarah has completed extensive advanced training in pelvic health, making her highly skilled in treating complex pelvic pain, as well as supporting women through pregnancy and postnatal recovery. She is deeply passionate about empowering women at every stage of life 💫

With her strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, she’s also fantastic at managing those everyday niggles and injuries, and has a special interest in helping our elderly community with strength, balance, and falls prevention.

Sarah will be consulting from our Stafford Heights clinic (Nurture Gynaecology) on Thursdays, as well as our Belmont clinic (Belmont General Practice Clinic) on Tuesdays 📍

We are so excited to have you back, Sarah — and we know your patients are too!

Welcome back, superstar 💛

She also has a background in treating musculoskeletal injuries and therefore is also uniquely skilled in helping with those everyday aches and pains alongside pelvic health concerns 🙌

Third trimester reality 🤰✨

Compression stockings = absolute must.
With all the extra fluid, pressure, and circulation changes in pregnancy, they can be a game changer for:
• reducing swelling in legs & ankles
• improving circulation
• helping prevent varicose veins
• easing that heavy, tired leg feeling

And when I’m on my feet a lot (hello nesting mode 🧺 cooking + setting up baby’s room), I also pop on my compression shorts or belly support band under my clothes.

Because let’s be real — your pelvic floor is already working overtime carrying baby + adapting to all the anatomical and hormonal changes. That extra support helps:
• reduce pelvic heaviness/pressure
• support your lower back
• take some load off your pelvic floor
• keep you feeling more comfortable and supported through the day

Small things… but they make a BIG difference 💛

Mums-to-be — don’t underestimate support wear in the third trimester 👏

Our final week at West End 🤍

Three incredible years working alongside our dear friend Dr Power — an inspiring doctor and an even more beautiful person inside and out. It’s truly been such an honour to work with you and share this journey together.

West End has been more than just a clinic — it’s felt like a second home. So many special memories, so much growth, and so many wonderful patients and moments we’ll always carry with us.

While it’s hard to say goodbye, we’re so excited for the new adventures ahead at the new clinics. And one thing for sure — we’ll always stay close with our beautiful Power family 💫

Forever grateful 🤍

2 new clinic locations 🤍✨

From April, we’ll be moving on from our beautiful West End clinic and starting an exciting new chapter across Morningside General Practice Clinic and Belmont General Practice Clinic . We’re also adding an extra day at Nurture Gynaecology , continuing to grow and better support our patients across Brisbane.

All three locations offer abundant free parking, are conveniently close to the inner city, and allow us to better service the south-east Brisbane community — with Belmont a little further south and Morningside more to the east 📍

What this means for you:
You can continue seeing us at West End and Stafford Heights as usual, until the 25th of March.
After this date, all appointments will transition to the new clinic locations, and your appointment confirmations will reflect the updated address 📩

We feel so grateful for our time at West End, especially renting from the wonderful Power family 🤍 it’s been such a special chapter for us.

Now, we’re incredibly excited for what’s ahead — working alongside larger medical and allied health teams, expanding our care, and continuing to support you all every step of the way 🌷

Same team, same care… just more ways to access us 🤍

Please contact us with any questions or concerns, and we’re more than happy to help guide you on which clinic may be closest and most convenient for you.

Thank you for your ongoing support & love. We look forward to welcoming you to the new locations.

Withe love,
Saba & Circle of life physio team

First session of the Live Pelvic Floor Research 2026 Update by WHTA ✔️📚

The first section focused on sexual dysfunction and pelvic floor pain – one of our absolute favourite areas to treat as pelvic floor physios. So much valuable research, clinical insight, and practical strategies that we can bring straight back to our patients.

Always inspiring to keep learning and staying up to date so we can continue to empower our patients with knowledge, support, and evidence-based care. 💛

Excited for the next sessions!
