✨ Three Simple Ways to Help Manage Pelvic Pain ✨

Do you live with endometriosis or other causes of pelvic pain? Here are three quick, feel-good tips you can sprinkle into your day that might make a big difference 💛

1️⃣ Enjoy a warm drink – something comforting that works for you (my go-to is coffee, but choose what feels best for your body).
2️⃣ Dance it out – 5–10 minutes of moving to your favorite music. Research shows dancing boosts both physical and mental health. Personally, I love Persian dancing in the mornings – but any music that makes you smile works! 🎶
3️⃣ Take a rest break – lying down for 10–20 minutes can help calm your nervous system and give your body the pause it needs.

🌿 Remember: small rituals = big shifts in how you feel.

Endo warriors 💛 Here are 3 ways you can help manage your pain and fatigue:
✨ Support your bowels — manage constipation with a slow increase in fibre and focus on relaxing your pelvic floor when emptying.
✨ Pelvic floor care — practice gentle contract–relax through the day, with extra focus on softening and letting go.
✨ Move mindfully — return to exercise gradually, including strength training to build resilience.

Here are a few quick and simple exercises you can try after your 6-week check-up ✅

👉 Remember to squeeze + release your pelvic floor throughout the movement (imagine stopping wee & wind 🌬️).
👉 Aim for around 20 reps of each, including some pulses, until you feel a little fatigue.
👉 Perfect if you’re looking for safe, at-home exercises to ease back into movement.

⚠️ If you’re experiencing back or pelvic pain, always check in with your physio for tailored advice.

We’re thrilled to welcome Patricia, our new massage therapist, to the Circle of Life Physio team! ‍🪷

With about 20 years of experience as a Brazilian physio & massage therapist, she’s excited to support your wellness journey. 🙌

Patricia will be available Thursday afternoons — book in and experience her magic! ✋✨

Here’s a little about Patricia!

Hi I’m a Brazilian physiotherapist and experienced massage therapist, living in Australia for nearly eight years. My passion for the outdoors and movement fuels both my lifestyle and professional philosophy. Whether I’m hiking, horse riding, or indoor climbing, I believe that a strong and mobile body is the foundation for a fun, healthy life.

My approach to therapy is deeply personalized. Drawing from a wide range of techniques—including Thai massage and stretching, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, Shiatsu, and deep tissue work—I’ve developed my own adaptive style to meet each client’s unique needs.

I’m fascinated by the biomechanics of the human body and the powerful connection between mind and body when it comes to pain and its root causes. I see physical well-being as a holistic journey, one that’s just as much about lifestyle as it is about healing.

I’m excited to be part of the Circle of Life team and look forward to walking alongside my clients, helping them build healthier, pain-free lives.
