Sophie Lange is a Brisbane/Meanjin based DIA Accredited creative designer. A highly creative and innovative designer with 5+ years of experience in graphic, communication and web design. Sophie is skilled in both print and digital media, with a strong focus on creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs. With a strong ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members, Sophie never fails to understand project goals and deliver high-quality designs on time. In October 2020, Sophie graduated from the Queensland College of Art at Griffith University with a Bachelor of Design (Graphic & Communication). Prior to this, Sophie had completed school based traineeships that conferred her with a Certificate of Graphic Design & Photography course from TAFE Queensland, as well as a Certificate III in Retail Operations. Before her career as a designer took off, Sophie pursued her strong family background of hospitality. She now has over 10 years experience of working numerous roles for venues in the industry in conjunction with her long term study and full time career. On nights and weekends, you can find her at her 'side hustle' at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre working for the world's biggest groups and artists, delivering her wealth of customer service and hospitality to the Stars and their patrons. Outside of her working life, Sophie is a lived experience mental health advocate and member of the Youth Reference Group for headspace Nundah. As the voice of young people, her role primarily involves community engagement, interview panelling, partaking in headspace events, and ensuring the business model of headspace consistently has the best capability to cater to young people in need of crisis support and ongoing counselling.
