The week that was 🙃🤘 Foot vs Car door!
In the early hours of Tuesday morning - 13cm gash 🤢 Straight up to emergency, they cleaned it out and stitched me up - 21 stitches later! 🪡

🚑 Back up to Emergency Wednesday as I thought I’d busted a stitch… Nope! Admitted Wednesday night - they were worried about infection in the joint. Surgery Friday to open her up, debridement & clean her all out. When the surgeons say “I can smell the infection” before opening it up / taking me into theatre 🤢😂🤘

A Sh*t load of IV antibiotics, pain killers etc regularly since! The Orthopedics team will reassess tomorrow morning, and make the call to either head back to theatre to clean her out again, or if all looks good - send me home!

We know I don’t do things by halves, but this one definitely takes the cake ✌️💁‍♀️😂

Zigwardo Da Vinci ~ the boy who started it all 🌈🥰 08.03.2020 - 17.02.25 💔💔💔

Mumma’s bestest boi who started it all ~ the boi with all the health issues 🙏 Ziggy needed 3x BOAS surgeries before 2 years old just to breathe 😭

In January 2024 at just shy of 4 years old he faced IVDD stage 4-5, my worst fear since the day he came home 😓

We got through that ~ Zig got through that! With a smile on his face always.

He was Mumma’s keeper, he was my fully fledged assistance dog for mumma! Tasking from just a few moths old - long before I knew what he was doing to help me 🥰

Ziggy was truly something else! He’s literally the reason for everything that that I do and my quest to improve health full stop!

He taught me so much about life, strength, and resilience, with the biggest smile on his face always!

I’ll never get over losing you my boi, I hope you’re flying so damn high over the rainbow bridge gorgeous! Till we meet again 🕊️🌈🥰

Ohh Lordy, get the tissues ready 🥹 A lot of you now & others may have seen our recent soul destroying heartbreak of losing multiple French kids earlier this year from baiting 😓🌈

I had our first Squishy Face Rescue and Rehome foster kid here for the last 6 weeks!! Eeek! 🥰 The most special gal who is truly something else! We helped her learn love & light, learn the basics, & were here for part of her new journey to her new “happily ever after forever family.” Yet little does she know, she helped us sooooo much more! This precious gem helped us heal so much, and helped “Love” my survivor kiddo ~ they were inseparable 🥰

While we can’t share pics, this little gem has truly been my savior 🙏 To Kelly, Dagmar, & the amazingness they do each and every day at SFRR - thank you for doing all that you do! And thank you for letting us be a part of it! We can’t wait to hear the good news of her amazing new fam, and also welcome our next foster kiddo 🥳

I’m soooooo incredibly proud of our amazing Zigwardo and Co Speckled Sausage - aka Miss Cora 🥰🥰🥰

Corgi is the first in the world with her DNA - n/DVL2 & n/CDDY, to see our gorgeous gal from day one to now - she’s truly hands down amazing! Her structure and conformation is bloody amazing & on point! She is our superstar!

Such an amazing and humbling achievement for us both - Cora is one special queen, one of our extra special crew that was not only part of the 6th DVL2 breeder / litter in Australia - but one of the first CDDY litters! Very long before others started taking notice of CDDY whatsoever - passed on from her hands down amazing mumma miss Betty Mae 🥰🥰🥰

Loufoque French Bulldogs Thank you for loving our most precious babe, and continuing our legacy and quest for health 🙏 Miss Betty Mae’s clone, I’m so incurably proud of this queen 🥰🥰🥰
