Those working in support roles within the PALM scheme play a critical role in the wellbeing of Pacific and Timor-Leste workers.
Our foundational mental health and wellbeing sessions, delivered by our Pacific clinicians, create space to reflect the realities of support work. Sessions are designed to to equip those in PALM support roles with practical tools for self-care, emotional regulation, and sustainable ways of showing up for others.
When you are often the first point of contact, understanding holistic mental health and wellbeing isn’t a luxury, it’s essential to supporting others effectively while maintaining your own wellbeing.
There is strong value in peer-to-peer learning across roles and countries within the PALM scheme, creating culturally safe spaces to talanoa, share experiences, and learn from one another. These shared spaces strengthen connection, deepen understanding, and honour the collective knowledge across the PALM community 🌺
