“International Men’s day” is the day to celebrate men and all their contributions to our lives.
Chris and his Groomsmen Joe and Tommy, have been great mates for many years.
On Chris’s wedding day as we were waiting for his beautiful bride Mandy to arrive, it was clear to me that Tommy and Joe weren’t just there to be a part of the celebrations but because they were there to support Chris and share in this happy moment.
Chris, Joe and Tommy were all a part of the same unit in the army and this is how they became friends.
Chris, Joe and Tommy's mateship only strengthened when they were deployed overseas for 9 months together, with Chris and Tommy being room mates. This experience Chris will always remember.
These handsome men are real blokey` blokes, down to earth and friendly guys who are just happy as they are. They have a high regard for doing the right thing and following the rules and it is their values which bonds them.
This years theme for International Men’s day is Men’s Mental health. How important it is for men not only to look after themselves but also their mates.
Guys encourage your mates to really talk and have honest conversations about all that affects your lives and the struggles that we sometimes have to go through.
Chris, Tommy and Joe, we appreciate and are grateful for your service for our country.
