In our meditation session this week, we discussed about the 4 stages of Speech- Vaikhari, Madhyama, Pashyanti & Para. Our meditation involved chanting affirmations in Pashyanti. It is the inner spark, where śabda (sound) and artha (meaning) are fused. There is no thinking or analysis—only pure icchā (desire) to express. It is the first divine glimpse of unspoken Vāk (speech).

The hall is blooming with love for art, community building and pure Joy!!!!!! What a bunch of talented elders!!!! From 8 people 2 yrs ago to an overflowing space with almost 20 people joining our art sessions now, our class is growing bigger and better and we are infinitely grateful for that 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Paint-Press-Print-Repeat!!!! What a high energy session we had doing wooden block printing on Fabric!! Beautiful, ethnic and intricate design patterns were printed by our lovely seniors.

Mandukya Upanishad – Verse 1:

“Om ity etad akṣaram idaṁ sarvam”
“Om is this whole world. Everything — past, present, and future — is just Om.”

AUM is the eternal sound that encompasses all of time and existence. Chanting AUM in today’s meditation session and discussion on the meaning and significance of the symbol was deeply insightful. Thank you to the lovely residents of Retirement Living! Your keenness and sincerity inspires me to deepen my practice!!! .
