Not sure if Carnivore is for you?
Here's some things to think about: (Beside the health benefits)
Keto diet (some say the pre carnivore diet way of eating) is a great way to start eliminating carbs and upping your meat intake (Personally I find all the macro counting a put off)- on carnivore you don't count, or measure just eat until you are full, or it doesn't taste good anymore!
Carnivorish or Dirty Carnivore diet - This is a good starting point.
Heavy in animal protein, includes milk cheeses, cream, coffee or tea.
Its currently where I'm at.
Carnivore diet: Animal protein - usually beef fattier the better. Salt, butter, lard or ghee for cooking. You can eat pork, fish, lamb, venison etc but from what I've read the optimal for our body id red meat.
Meat is so expensive:
depends on what you are comparing it with!
If you budget is limited, go for the best meat you can afford. There's nothing wrong with eating mince if you can't afford steak. There's nothing wrong with eating grain fed meat if you can't afford grass fed. When you start eating meat free from preservatives you are already winning and way better off than you were eating before!
$8.00 for a rump steak (coles) or $7.35 for a Big Mac (Brisbane Feb 2023) - I know which one leaves me feeling satisfied and is better for me! Oh and add the extra $$$ if you are ordering thru Uber...
It Takes too long to cook a steak:
7 minutes is all you really need to cook a steak, have you noticed that fast food drive thru isn't as fast as it used to be? and as for ordering Uber the usual deliver time is 15 - 30 mins.
