Sunny Days Support Service’s is a small locally owned business of high-quality support services, committed to enhancing the lives of our participants.
We are currently seeking compassionate, experienced, and dedicated support workers to join our team and provide support and care to our participants.
Position: Support Worker
Location: North Brisbane area - various locations
Job Type: Contracting
Shifts Available: Monday-Sunday, various times
Position Overview:
As a Support Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care and support. You will assist our clients with daily living and community access supports, creating a positive, safe and supportive environment where participants can thrive and achieve their goals.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
* Knowledge of NDIS, and a strong desire to help and care for others.
* Relevant qualifications in disability, community services, or a related field are desirable but not essential. Any mental health experience would be advantageous.
* Possess a current Australian drivers license
* Carers Business Insurance
* Passion for health and safety demonstrated through maintaining First Aid, CPR & Safe Environments for Children & Young People
* ABN
* National Disability Screening, and Current Blue Card
* Successful candidate will have the legal right to work in Australia and will be required to complete a National Police Clearance Check
