Struggling with after-school meltdowns or constant tension at home?

You don’t need to redesign your whole house to support your child with ADHD or autism, just one small change to the environment can make a world of difference.

Start by giving your child time to decompress after school, no pressure, no demands.

Or try swapping harsh overhead lights for softer lamps.

These simple shifts can reduce sensory overload and create a calmer home.
And when things feel calmer, connection and cooperation come more easily.

You don’t have to do it all at once, just start with one small change.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, short on time, and unsure where to start… this is for you.

My parent courses were created for families navigating ADHD, autism and behavioural challenges. They’re designed to help you feel calmer, more confident, and more connected, without the pressure to be perfect.

You’ll get simple tools, step-by-step support, and practical strategies you can use right away.

One mum told me, “I finally feel like I understand my child, and myself.”
You don’t have to figure this out alone.

Your calm matters too.

Some days it feels like nothing works. You try staying calm, you try being consistent… but your child still struggles. And you're left wondering if you’re doing something wrong.

If you’ve ever cried in the pantry, yelled when you didn’t want to, or felt completely judged by strangers, or even family, you’re not alone.

Parenting a neurodivergent child can be overwhelming. But connection, not perfection, is what helps them feel safe enough to listen.

I created a free guide to help you strengthen the relationship that makes all the difference.

Public outings can be exhausting, and not because of your child.

It’s the looks. The whispers. The pressure to manage everything perfectly.

You’re not imagining it. And you’re not alone.

So many parents of children with autism, ADHD or anxiety tell me:
“It’s just easier to stay home.”

But that shouldn’t be the only option. You both deserve to be seen, and supported.

💬 What moment has stuck with you the most?
Or just comment “same” if this hit you in the gut.

Ever feel like you’re constantly walking on eggshells, around your child and yourself?

When your child lives in fight-or-flight mode, it’s easy to find yourself stuck there too.

You’re exhausted. Depleted. Overwhelmed.
And the hardest part? It feels like no one truly gets it.

Here’s the truth: parenting doesn’t have to be this isolating.
Working on your own regulation isn’t selfish, it’s one of the most powerful things you can do for your child.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re running on empty, let’s talk.
You don’t have to do this alone.

💬 Comment “same” if this is your daily reality. I’m here and listening.

Not sure whether to start with a quick course or dive into a full support program?

You’re not alone.

Most parents feel unsure at first, especially when they’re already burnt out, doubting themselves, or overwhelmed by “what ifs.”

Here’s what I tell families:
✨ If you need something light and doable, start small.
✨ If you want a partner in the process, choose the support with 1:1 guidance.

One mum told me:
“I thought I had to be more ‘ready’… but I started with a quick win and realised I didn’t need to wait.”

You don’t need to have it all together to get started.

Hey parents, have you ever found yourself hoping your child will just “grow out of it”? In this new episode of Parent Like a Psychologist, I talk about what happens when needs go unmet, and why waiting can sometimes make things harder.

You’ll learn why early support matters, how unmet needs can snowball into bigger challenges, and what to look out for if things aren’t staying the same.

If you’ve been wondering whether now is the right time to get support, this episode will help you reflect and decide with confidence.

Not all signs of autism, ADHD or anxiety are loud.

Sometimes they show up quietly.
🟡 in the child who seems “fine” until they explode at home
🟡 in the child who’s praised for being “so mature”
🟡 in the child who’s anxious, exhausted, or overstimulated, but no one sees it
These signs are often missed.

Not because you’re not paying attention, but because they don’t match what most people expect.

You deserve support, even if your child isn’t “melting down” in public.

Save this post for the next time you start second-guessing what you know in your gut.

If your mornings feel like constant chaos, please hear this: there is nothing wrong with you and nothing wrong with your child. When emotions run high, no one can think clearly or problem-solve well. That’s not the moment to fix everything. Real change happens outside the meltdown, when you teach skills and set your home up to support calmer mornings before they start.

That’s exactly what my Chaos to Calm program helps you do. Practical strategies, clear guidance, and support you can actually use on real mornings with real kids.

Ready when you are. Learn more and join Chaos to Calm today.

They don’t always show up as big meltdowns or diagnosis paperwork.

Sometimes the red flags are quiet:
💬 You tiptoe around your child’s moods.
💬 You dread the parts of the day that other families seem to breeze through.
💬 You wonder why all the “usual” advice just doesn’t land.

These moments feel small, but when they pile up, they become heavy.

They’re not signs of failure.

They’re signs your child may need a different kind of support,
and you deserve support too.

Save this for a day when you need reassurance that you're not the only one feeling this way.

“I just needed someone to tell me where to start.”

That’s what so many parents say after finally choosing a path that fits them, not someone else’s idea of progress.

For some, that’s a short program with a clear focus and simple tools they can use today.

For others, it’s a more supportive space to unpack deeper challenges, with guidance and 1:1 help along the way.

💛 There’s no one-size-fits-all.

Just the next step that feels possible, hopeful, and right for your family.

Save this for later or share it with a parent who’s still deciding where to begin.
