I have extensive experience as a Support Worker within the disability sector. I am seeking a new client as I enjoy making a difference in people’s lives. I am able to provide 24-hour support within the South East region from a couple of hours to a couple of days a week, or 24 Hrs/ full time Respite care Holiday care, weekend away or through my personal accommodation located in Birkdale. I have a positive and compassionate attitude, and I genuinely enjoy providing care. I am committed to my clients maintaining a healthy lifestyle and I always endeavor to adhere to all safety policies and procedures within my work role, including the safe and correct administration of medication. . Experience/Qualifications: Care could be provided in either your home or mine. I have 15 years’ experience with Endeavor Foundation and 11 years’ experience with Centacare. I hold a Certificate III and IV in Disabilities. I have a current open driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (transport can be provided). I have a current First aid Certificate and CPR. I have a current Yellow and Blue card in Queensland. I am registered as an NDIS provider. I have experience engaging with people with Autism,Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Prada Willie, Fragile X etc. and I have excellent knowledge base around different types of conditions or the ability to quickly acquire new skills.
