Dr Celestine speaks fluent English and Mandarin, and is available for appointments on Saturdays at Times GP, making it easier for patients with busy weekday schedules to access quality care.

Her clinical interests include:
✅ Women’s and reproductive health
✅ Antenatal care
✅ Geriatric medicine
✅ Paediatric medicine

Dr Celestine graduated at the University of Sydney in 2018 and obtained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023. Dr Gan has two years of experience working with rural Aboriginal communities, where she developed a strong appreciation for culturally responsive healthcare.

Outside of medicine, Dr Celestine enjoys cooking, playing the piano, travelling, and spending time with her lovely Corgi.

Addressing the myths about Flu Vaccines! 💉

Flu vaccines are the best way to protect yourself against severe flu symptoms! Still, there are many common misunderstandings:

❌ “Flu vaccines are useless - I still get sick anyway!”
✅ The flu vaccine protects you from severe flu symptoms but doesn’t prevent colds. After receiving the vaccine, your body needs about two weeks to develop its full protective effect, so it’s best to get vaccinated early.

❌ “I feel unwell after the flu shot - it’s like I got the flu!”
✅ Feeling mild discomfort after the flu shot is a normal immune response to the vaccine. This reaction shows that your body is building the protection it needs!

❌ “I had the flu shot last year, so I don’t need it again this year!”
✅ Flu viruses evolve quickly, and last year’s vaccine may not protect against this year’s strains. The World Health Organization (WHO) updates flu vaccines annually to ensure they target the latest flu strains. Be sure to get vaccinated each year!
