I bet you all are dying to know, whats the perfect poo?

I was lucky enough to spend the weekend at the NHAA herbal medicine summit. I am looking forward to sharing the pearls of knowledge i was able to gain from listening to amazing Naturopaths/Herbalist like Jason Hawrelak, Justin Sinclair and Dawn Whitten (just to name a few) šŸ’š

Told you id do a new video, even if it is 2.30pm and now i have to rush off for school pick up. But I did it! Hahaha

Just having a quick bit of a kōrero (talk) on the immune system, and being not sick all the time isnt the best indication of a good immune system, maybe a better indicator could be how quickly we bounce back when we do get sick. A good reason to talk about why boosting our immune system isnt always the best option, instead supporting it with beautiful herbs like echinacea can be more helpful

If youd like any help supporting your immune system as we come into the time of year where coughs and colds start to become more common. Just reach out id love to work with you.

This is how I want to spend my day, but groceries and boring jobs get in the way 😪

I think this is one of the things that can sometimes turn people away from herbalists, naturopaths, and natural medicine, when it starts to feel more about sales than genuine care.

This was from a Seek ad suggested to me today. I’m not sharing who it was from because this isn’t about criticising someone else’s business model, really this post isnt about them at all. It’s simply not how I choose to practice. Nor do many naturopaths or herbalist I know.

I became a herbalist to help people. It was never about sales targets or how much money I could make. Never has been never will be.

For me, the priority has always been supporting the person in front of me, helping them work toward their health goals, understand what’s going on in their body, and address the underlying issues that need support.

I know appointment fees can sometimes seem expensive. But when a standard GP appointment can cost $80+ for 15 minutes, and my consultations are $170 for an hour, it’s not because I’m trying to ā€œsellā€ health care. It’s because meaningful, individualised care takes time.

Being a mama comes in all different forms.
For some, today is filled with cuddles, laughter, and little hands reaching for you. For others, it carries grief, longing, exhaustion, or quiet moments that nobody else sees.

Motherhood is more than a title. It’s the endless mental load, the worrying, the nurturing, the sacrifices, the strength it takes to keep life moving even when you’re running on empty.
But knowing that every second is one that is worth it.
And it can be holding love for someone who isnt here anymore, or who you are still longing to meet. All are just as important.

So today, I just want to acknowledge ALL mothers.
The ones celebrating, the ones struggling, the ones missing their babies, the ones longing to become mothers, the ones doing it without support, and the ones carrying more than anyone realises.

Whether today feels joyful, heavy, or somewhere in between I see you, and I appreciate you.

Happy Mother’s Day šŸ¤

Bit of a PSA to sit down. Hahaha, sounds simple, but i was genuinely wondering why I was feeling so scattered and all over the place. My body was screaming at me. Sit down.
And full transparency, this lasted about 10mins, because I realised the time and it was school pick up time šŸ˜…
But a good reminder anyway...

Yesterday I reposted some stories on saffron out preforming some medications. Those storied got quite a few responses, not only people being amazed that herbal medicine could do that, but also people asking if i thought herbal medicine could replace medications. While I'd never suggest stopping a medication without first consulting with your doctor. I just wanted to show that it doesnt have to be medication vs herbal medicine. Sometimes they can be used together and result in better outcomes and fewer adverse effects.

If you would like support before trying medication, or while still on medication please reach out I'd love to have a chat and be the one to be able to support you on this path.
