The end of the year can stretch relationships. When our bandwidth is low, even small misunderstandings can feel bigger and more intense.

Added pressure, fatigue, family expectations, and changes to routine can all impact how couples communicate and connect.

At The Good Life Therapy, couples therapy offers a safe space to slow things down, understand each other more clearly, and work through challenges together — with care and support.

Not everyone finds this time of year easy.
Heightened emotions, family pressure, grief, or exhaustion can all surface.

The Good Life Therapy remains open with some availability, offering a calm, supportive space to talk things through.

16/12/2025

This time of year often brings pressure to push through — to keep going, even when you’re exhausted.

We see many people overriding their needs because life feels busy or demanding. But your needs don’t disappear just because the calendar is full.

Listening to what you need right now — whether that’s rest, support, or slowing down — is an important act of care.

The Good Life Therapy is open and offering appointments if you need a space to pause, reflect, and be heard.

Now welcoming new and existing clients.

If you’re feeling distressed, shocked, or overwhelmed following the terrorism incident at Bondi Beach, you are not alone.

Events involving violence or serious harm can deeply affect many people — not only those directly involved, but also witnesses, families, first responders, and communities across Australia. Seeing or hearing about these events, particularly through social media or the news, can be distressing. When something frightening happens in a familiar public place, it can understandably shake our sense of safety.

If you would like to talk to someone in person, The Good Life Therapy is offering once-off support sessions to help individuals process what they may be feeling and to support our community. You can contact our reception on 07 3063 1058 to make a free / no-cost appointment with one of our clinicians.

Please note, we are not a crisis service.

As the year begins to wind down, life can start to feel a little chaotic — wrapping things up, planning ahead, and trying to keep up with everything in between.

A gentle reminder: you’re allowed to slow down. Small acts of self-care can make the biggest difference.

Simple ways to take care of yourself right now:
• Prioritise sleep — your mind and body need the reset.
• Nourish yourself with balanced, supportive foods.
• Stay connected — make time for the people who fill you up.
• Take short breaks to breathe, rest, and check in with yourself.
• Let go of the pressure to finish the year “perfectly”.

The end of the year doesn’t need to be a rush. You deserve moments of calm, connection, and care.

At The Good Life Therapy, we don’t just look at what anxiety feels like — we explore where it comes from.

We gently uncover the patterns, triggers, and beliefs that keep anxious cycles going, and we look at how these same patterns can quietly shape self-esteem.

When we understand the roots, we can begin to break the cycle and build a calmer, more grounded sense of self.

If anxiety is showing up in your life, you don’t have to navigate it alone

We look forward to welcoming you to our
clinic.
