The QRL and the Arthur Beetson Foundation invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following staff positions for the selected age group teams from the 2025 Qld Murri Carnival to play in a representative carnival, 9 April 2026 on the Sunshine Coast.

There are 6x Teams (U14 Boys & Girls teams, U16 Boys and Girls teams & U18 Boys and Girls teams) for applicants to apply for.

Development Coach - Aspirational coaches who wish to improve their knowledge and experience. Community Coach (age specific) accreditation level required.

Coaching Assistant - Work alongside the Program Manager to ensure age group is given clear direction and understanding of their requirements. Preferably hold a Leaguesafe accreditation

Age Group Team Manager - Work alongside the Program Manager to ensure age group is given clear direction and understanding of their requirements. Preferably hold a Leaguesafe accreditation.

Sports Trainer - Coordinate first aid and injury management. Minimum Level 1 Sports Trainer accreditation required.

League Safe - To help deliver messages on the field and to assist the Head Coach and Assistant Coach hold a League safe accreditation.

Applicants may apply for a number of positions but may only hold one at a time.

Successful applicants must be able to commit to going into camp with the team Tuesday 7 April to Friday 10 April. This will include a training session on the day before the game and Game Day along with general supervision of the team at the accommodation.

The Event will be held in SEQ with training times and venues to be confirmed.

*All applicants will be required to be compliant with the provisions of Blue Card Legislation

We will require all applicants to send their EOI and Resume through to events@murrirugbyleague.com.au
