Morning just a quick note to tell you I haven’t forgotten you, I love posting small ideas to help you be calmer and happier.
The universe has placed me in bed with a chest infection.

All the wise gurus & teachers, talk about staying in the moment - but what does that actually mean?
It means not allowing your mind to stress over the past or worry over the future.

You can start this change softly. Every time you recognise than your mind has slipped back into the past you take a sharp in breath and focus on where you are right now, and what you’re doing - even if your are just sitting still.

It took me about a year of gently pulling up my mind from dwelling in the past and I cannot tell you the relief it gave me from stress back in my 30s.
Now I am very aware if I slide back to old experiences that weren’t pleasant. I just say to myself “why am I going back here?” Shake it off Saren, is just a memory. It is not my present.

You’ll find that if you do this, your life will become so much calmer, and you’ll feel so much better within yourself.
I can say this because I have done this exact technique and it has worked wonders for me, just don’t expect it to work overnight. Your mind takes a while to program into negativity and it takes awhile to program back into a happy flow.

Last night I had a dream about light and dark. It was fascinating. What I don’t think manynrealize is that there is light and dark all around us and inside us. When we mentally criticise ourselves or others we are tune our chakras to bring in more of the dark that lives around us. This can be a perpetual self activating thing meaning the more you do it the more you get. When you think uplifting loving, kind or compassionate thoughts you tune your chakras to pull in more light which makes more space for more light and also becomes like a domino effect. These different energies resonates like a bell calling more of the energy you are entertaining within your cells; that’s why some people attract wonderful events and people into their life while others are plagued by drama and negativity. You have the power to shift the balance of energies within your cells just by catching your thoughts you don’t want and overlaying them with a positive affirmation. I know it works because I’ve done it for 40 years and have watched my world change. You have the power to change your world too! P.S this is from my Tarot card deck I’m creating. Breathe Before You React

I have noticed since covid that a lot of peoples nervous system are still frazzled causing us to stress about the little things more easily. Here’s an idea to help you. Healing starts with the little things.

Before answering a message, reacting to stress, or rushing into the next task… pause.

Take 3 slow breaths.

This tiny reset tells your body:

Morning and another week begins. I’ve been doing a simple mantra for the last 6 weeks and I have found the effect to be surprisingly powerful. I was struggling with letting go my dream to travel the world awakening people to their highest potential en mass. I never could quite shake the feeling that I’d failed in some way. It was causing me anxiety when I awoke each morning. So one morning I decided to reprogram myself and I simple started repeating

“I accept my life exactly the way it is”
Any time during the day if I had thoughts that brought up any stress I would repeat this phrase 3 -5 times. I couldn’t believe how instant the change was.
Within two weeks my whole thought system had changed. And I was feeling content with my life. I’ve always used affirmations but never one as simple as this. By the way it dosnt mean you can’t change your life but in that moment you are fully accepting exactly where you are.
Hope this helps someone out there.

Morning beautiful, and another start to the week on a soft and gently raining day. Have you got any plans to do anything just for you? I dreamt last night I was learning to knit. I haven’t done that for many years and I realised that it was so relaxing even even though I wasn’t good at it. I have repeatedly seen, caring, nurturing, people, that everyone says are so loving and amazing but are incapable of receiving care from others! What is that?
If you try and do something for them they often get agitated and upset. It is a role they have cemented themselves in. The rescuer the saviour the GOOD person. Often it is learnt in childhood having had a mentally ill or very stress caretaker/mum/dad. Do you recognise yourself or a friend?
I have observed that the only way for them to break out of this self destructive behaviour, is to start with very small acts of self care/love.
You show up for everyone else.Today think about a small way you can nurture yourself.

Drink some water.
Take the walk.
Sit down and rest
Say no when needed.
Choose what nourishes you.

You matter too.

When you imagine something clearly, your brain activates the same neural pathways as if it were real.

This is why athletes use visualisation to improve performance.
You can use the same tool to relax your body and balance your energy system.
Your mind is a remote control for your nervous system 🧠✨

Try this - Close your eyes. Breathe in through the nose out through the mouth three times. Then imagine you are hollow like a glass vase.
Start by filling your self with a soft golden liquid light.
Imaging a beautiful jug pouring this liquid light, into the top of your head, and see the golden liquid slowly filling you till, your full right down to your toes.
See the liquid light pour out of your toes creating a puddle, washing away tension, and leaving your body clear and quiet.

You can mix it up and change the colour of the light, to what ever colour enters your head.
That’s the colour your body is telling you it needs.
Great exercise for getting to sleep.

One minute a day can change how your whole system feels.
