Mothers blessings 💕

I had the absolute privilege of facilitating a mothers blessing for a wonderful friend of mine. A ceremony very near and dear to my heart. A ceremony that wholeheartedly supports and showers the mum to be in love and well wishes. The way she deserves.

We all took a plate of food to share and something for the mums freezer for postpartum and a special bead for her to hold in labour. We spoke beautiful words to her, put henna on her incredible stomach, and made her bunting for her babies nursery as she requested. It was wholesome and glorious. Every woman deserves this.

I hope this inspires others to have their own mother’s blessing; where they can be held, nourished and celebrated!

Life over the last month. Cooking, crafting and enjoying time with loved ones. A tough month for our family saying goodbye to the heart of our family, our beautiful girl Zepp. The best dog we could ever ask for. Wishing everyone a beautiful 2026. Already so grateful for the beautiful families I am blessed to support this year. Bring on 2026 ###

It’s funny the things life teaches you in the dark times. As my family digests a heartbreaking diagnosis for our beautiful dog Zeppelin, I sit with it all, grateful for the warning to make the most of these last few days/ weeks/ months with our girl. Inspired by the alternative pathways and the people that walk it, and reminded how important nutrition is at all stages of our life. Grateful to be able to able to tune into my love language and create some beautiful healing remedies, and feel like I am actively able to help her in some way.
For all the beautiful foods and herbs we know that light up our postpartum bodies, the same foods are used to support us at the end of life.
So please excuse my absence online, and know that amongst my sadness is moments of pure happiness being present with my glorious Zeppelin 🌞

Closing of the bones for this gorgeous mum, one year post the birth of her son.
What an honour it was holding space for her in this ceremony days before her son’s first birthday. Lots of emotions from us both!
