The Redcliffe District Autumn Orchid Show is taking place from May 2nd to 3rd and will feature hundreds of stunning exotic orchids from around the world.
The massive plant sale will allow visitors to take home their own orchids to enjoy in their own homes.

During the First World War, soldiers serving overseas were often sent care packages from loved ones back home. Among the most cherished items were homemade biscuits made from rolled oats, golden syrup, and flour — a comforting reminder of home during incredibly difficult times.

Now known as Anzac biscuits, these simple treats offered a small but meaningful contrast to the harsh realities of war and the rations like 'bully beef' that were a daily staple.

The NDIS have translated their new Cultural and Linguistic Diversity (CALD) Strategy and Action Plan 2024-28 into 17 languages, including Auslan video translation and Easy Read. This ensures a better experience for all NDIS participants from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
