Julie-Ann Campbell MP and her daughter recently visited TerryWhite Chemmart Yeronga to take advantage of the new needle-free flu vaccination option. The experience was quick and without needles or tears, thanks to Pharmacist Richie and the nasal spray vaccination offered under the 2026 Queensland Free Flu Vaccination Program.

Thanks to the hard work of teams like TerryWhite Chemmart Yeronga, community pharmacies contributed nearly 40% of all flu vaccinations statewide between 1 March and 5 April 2026. It's a strong start to the flu season, and just one of the ways community pharmacies are helping Queenslanders stay safe and healthy.

Neil Bishop passed away in November 2025, leaving a legacy of care. A staunch advocate for preventative health care, active Guild member, and an early participant in the initial Methadone program, Neil was always looking for ways to help others. This extended to both patients and his colleagues in community pharmacy.

The Guild gives special thanks to Pam Bishop for sharing her remembrances and photos. See them in the Guild Journal: https://loom.ly/k6kIR0g
