A big congratulations to Ken McNab from our Edens Landing Retirement Estate! 🎉👏

Ken has been part of our village since 2001 and a proud member of the Beenleigh Bowls Club for many years. Recently, he and his team celebrated a great result on the green, taking home a $90 draw prize! 🏆

Our Caloundra residents came together for a very special lunch recently, celebrating a year of hard work volunteering with Uniforms 4 Kids! 💛

Over the past year, 15 of our wonderful residents have dedicated their time to sorting and unpicking school uniforms to help children in need across the community. 👕

We're so proud of our residents' kindness and generosity. The smiles on everyone's faces showed just how special it is to come together to make a difference. 🙌

Our aged care homes welcomed 2026 with smiles, hope and a little sparkle! ✨ Residents celebrated in style - wearing festive hats and accessories, enjoying delicious lunches, and lighting up the day with sparklers. 🎇🎇

At Duhig Village aged care home, the moment was especially meaningful as residents took time to write down what brought them joy over the past 12 months, along with their wishes for the year ahead.

🎶✨ What a wonderful way to wrap up 2025 with the Vintage Voices Community Choir! Every Wednesday morning, this special choir brings together people aged 65 and over for music and friendship at Sunnybank.

Thanks to the support of the Government’s Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) funding, the choir continues its much-loved weekly rehearsals, led by conductor Dr Debra Shearer-Dirié and pianist John Woods. This year, our Home Care team had the privilege of supporting the choir, and it’s been an absolute joy to watch members thrive, share hugs and feel like part of one big family. 💙

With just six days to go until Christmas, our Sunshine Coast Home Care team had the joy of delivering special gifts to our clients, and the smiles and excitement we witnessed were truly priceless! 🎄✨

Pat was over the moon with her gift, carefully unwrapping it without tearing the paper and asking where the best spot would be so everyone could see it. 💖 June tore into hers with the delight of a child, her sparkling eyes and laughter bringing tears of joy to one of our care partners. 🎁✨

Moments like these remind us that the true spirit of Christmas is in giving and making our clients feel known and loved. We’re so grateful to be part of these special moments and to share joy in our community. 🌟

Lights, camera, action! ✨📸

At St Anne’s Nursing Home, our residents love taking part in our glamour photoshoots throughout the year. It’s a special one-on-one activity where they get dressed up, add little accessories, and enjoy their moment in the spotlight. 💖

These sessions aren’t just for keepsakes – they help tell each resident's story, create a family photo wall in their wings and become cherished memories for their loved ones.

One of our favourite moments was with Shirley, who used to model when she was younger. She posed beautifully, and her son overseas was overjoyed to see the photo! 🤗

A huge thank you to our lifestyle team for making every photoshoot such a joyful and memorable experience for our residents and their families. 🌟

As Christmas draws near, it’s easy to get swept up in the busyness of the season. But it’s also a time that gently reminds us to look out for those in our community who may be doing it tough.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our staff across Support Centre, we were proud to once again support the Vinnies QLD Christmas Appeal. Because of your donations, more families will sit around their tables this Christmas with a little more comfort, dignity and hope. 🎁✨

And as we all rush through the busy weeks ahead, may we find small ways to give back. As Winston Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." 💙
