I’m pleased to announce the launch of Foundations Perinatal and Child Psychology Centre, opening in Brisbane in October 2025 under the direction of Dr Kim Stirling.

Foundations is a purpose-built clinic offering developmentally informed care across the perinatal period, childhood and adulthood—particularly where early attachment experiences shape later wellbeing. The model is reflective, relational, and grounded in depth.

As the sister clinic to several well-established practices, Foundations offers a supported entry into a broader, experienced network. There’s room for autonomy, connection, and meaningful clinical work.

We’re currently inviting expressions of interest from Clinical Psychologists and Registrars. Contractor and employee roles available.

A big step forward in understanding OCD.

I was pleased to contribute to this article from ABC News, which covers a major international study identifying 25 genes believed to play a causal role in OCD.

The findings reinforce what many in the field have long observed — that OCD has a strong biological basis, and that effective treatment needs to be rooted in science, compassion, and precision.

This kind of research not only deepens our understanding but also helps challenge stigma and guide more targeted interventions.
