QLD DeafBlind Social Hub has released their following FOUR events, you read that right! October has an extra event and is on a Saturday evening. Check it out. There are event pages made on their facebook with more information.

Those events are made to tailor to create a safe space for the Deafblind community to enjoy events and socialise. If you have any questions on how to get involved, or have queries - don't hesitate to reach out.

QLD DeafBlind Social Hub is now running community based social events. Starting in Feb, this image shows the dates from Feb to April. There will be an event every month on the 4th Wednesday. Event details will be released shortly. Check out the page! Little steps with Shara is associated but not solely running the new events. This social hub is collaborated with the members of the community with their ideas and contributions. So grateful for your ongoing support. Let’s make things happen for the community.

Good morning!

Thank you to those who have RSVP'd to the upcoming Deafblind Social Lunch this Saturday.
This event, is a booked table venue where you order your own lunch, nibblies and drinks.
Three Auslan interpreters will be provided for any communication access needs.
Looking forward to see you there!

Hi! I have an update for you all regarding the DeafBlind social lunch on 3rd August at Slipstream Brewery. They have confirmed the numbers, and can only host 30 people. I have two lists, the first list is for the DeafBlind community, as they come first for this safe space for DeafBlind members with their support workers and loved ones. The second list, is for general support workers, attendees, and support coordinators and people who just want to check it out. It is a priority to let the DeafBlind community have their space. However, once RSVP has passed, and there is space- I will contact you to confirm you can attend. 😀 very exciting. Hope to see you there!

We have our first upcoming DeafBlind Social Lunch on 3rd August. 12-2pm at Slipstream Brewery. Come grab a meal and mingle.
It's a great opportunity to meet new and old faces, and potentially make new friends!
Auslan Interpreters will be provided to ensure access.
