As Exercise Physiologists, we know that movement is medicine - but prevention is key. Staying on top of your health checks can help detect issues early, so you can keep living strong and feeling your best ❤ From blood pressure to breast checks, the Jean Hailes Health Check guide outlines what you need and when.

If you're an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander woman, ask your GP about a 715 Health check - a free, yearly check that looks at your physical, social and emotional wellbeing. It's a culturally appropriate and comprehensive way to stay on top of your health.

Caitlin isn’t just an expert in cancer care and exercise physiology, her warm personality, infectious positivity, and genuine care brings a unique energy that motivates everyone around her.

Caitlin’s passion to supporting clients in our community through tailored exercise programs, has made a profound impact on so many lives. Her expertise, compassion, and dedication to improving the health and well-being of those affected by Cancer have been truly inspiring. Whether she's mentoring colleagues, speaking at universities or collaborating on fundraising health initiatives to raise money and awareness, her leadership extends far beyond our team and her contributions continue to inspire us all.

We’re so grateful for the positive impact Caitlin has made, both in the lives of our community and within the broader EP industry. Thank you Caitlin, for everything you do.

We’re proud to introduce Jacqui as our new Clinical Team Lead in Neurology 👏👏

Jacqui is passionate about supporting individuals living with a wide range of neurological conditions, including Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, TBI, Spinal cord injury, Functional Neurological disorder (FND), Cerebral Palsy, Motor Neurone Disease and alike neuropathies. Her tailored, evidence-based approach empowers clients to move with purpose, improve function, and enhance daily life, no matter the complexity of the condition.

Jacqui plays a pivotal role in mentoring our clinical team, students, and fellow exercise physiologists in the neuro space. She works collaboratively with Neurologists, GPs, and allied health professionals to ensure every client receives holistic and coordinated care.

Jacqui is also passionate about ongoing education, regularly presenting and participating in community events to help drive knowledge and awareness in neurorehabilitation.

A recent study highlights the powerful role of aerobic exercise in improving sleep, mood, and quality of life in postmenopausal women (PMW). With up to 60% of PMW experiencing insomnia and emotional challenges, this non-pharmacological approach offers real benefits.⁣

Aerobic exercise was shown to:
✅ Improve Sleep quality (Time to fall asleep & total duration)
✅ Improve Depression symptoms
✅ Reduce Body Composition
✅ Improve overall quality of life, energy and fatigue

💡 As hormone levels drop post-menopause, structured physical activity like aerobic training can be a safe, effective way to enhance both mental and physical wellbeing.

After 6 and half years, we say farewell to Ashley ❤

Ashley’s presence at Bodytrack has been truly impactful, through her contributions to our marketing projects, community events, well-being program, and most importantly her authentic care and positive energy she brought into the clinic every day.

Her ability to connect, support, and inspire those around her has made a lasting difference in the lives of so many. While we’re sad to see her go, we’re excited for her and her families next chapter back in NZ.
