2025 dawned beautifully this morning at historical Newstead Park. Opened in 1921 the park is adjacent to Queensland's oldest house, Newstead House (1846). K.M.Smith has been sharing in Brisbane's history since 1883, beginning each new year with warmest wishes to all. We remember those who have passed and welcome new arrivals in a cycle every sunrise and sunset echoes.

The Lions Club of Golden Valley Keperra, proudly supported by K.M.Smith Funeral Directors, hosted children and families at the recent World Festival of Magic. The show provided much needed joy and laughter for those who would simply be unable to afford such an outing, with one family saying it all: "The opportunity to attend such events without financial strain is genuinely cherished by us."

Brisbane's Italian Magazine, Rintocchi, celebrates 40 years this month. Following a mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Wooloowin, many gathered to celebrate their success with beautiful food and wonderful speeches. K.M.Smith Funeral Directors were presented with an award by Director Dino Varricchio and Journalist Carmela Bozzi, (pictured here with Fr Luis Antonio Diaz Lamus CS), for our proud long-time support of Rintocchi.
