Yoga by the River Captain Burke Park, Brisbane starts again this Saturday 31 January at 7am. We meet near the playground (adjacent to the Facilities block). BYO yoga mat, water, hat and any other props you like to support your practice 😉 Join a great group of happy souls coming together to move and breathe and have fun!

Join a wonderful community at Captain Burke Park this Saturday 19 July at 7.30 am for Yoga by the River! These free classes offer a chance to breathe, move and connect with some fabulous humans (and dogs!).

Our classes run from 7.30-8.30am. BYO yoga mat, water, something snug for savasana, and a smile.

It is highly unlikely our park yoga class will be on tomorrow, so much 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️ the ground will be sodden! I will be there, just in case it clears, but it could be your morning to stay in bed 🛏️!

Tomorrow is the last class before the Easter school holidays.

Let's hope we have sunnier weather for our next block of classes. We start again on Saturday 26 April at our winter start time of 7.30am!

CLASS IS CANCELLED THIS SATURDAY!!!

As we might all suspect, the Council has cancelled all of its Active and Healthy Program activities until Tuesday next week. Stay safe, and see you all next Saturday.

Dear Yogis - as of today (5/3/25), our Yoga by the River class is still on this Saturday (8/3/25) at 7am. I expect another update from the Council today and will post on this page when I have any updates. The Council will also amend their website.

Please use your discretion about whether to come to class and please stay safe xx

Let's hope the 🌧️☔ holds off for our last class of the year, this Saturday at 7am. We meet at Captain Burke Park, Kangaroo Point near the amenities block.

Please join this beautiful group of humans (and canines!) to share the joy of yoga - our connection to community, to every heart, to the energy of all that surrounds us!

If you have time after class to share some food and conversation, I'll bring some fresh fruit and treats for our four legged yogis!
