On Monday some students had the opportunity to participate in a Boccia session delivered by our friends from Boccia Australia. It was a lot of fun learning new things and testing our skills. Boccia is a fun and inclusive sport for everyone and we always love playing it at RDSS.

Book Week came alive today with our dress-up parade! Students and staff proudly showed off their favourite book characters, bringing stories to life with colour and creativity. What a wonderful celebration of reading and imagination for our school community! Thank you to all of the parents who came and celebrated with us this morning.

It is wonderful to see our English units on rhyme and sounds of letters coming to life in classrooms across the school. The Early Years students are enjoying Nursery Rhymes, focusing on learning to listen for and notice rhyming words, letter patterns, and the sounds in words.

This morning our Middle Years, Junior Secondary and Year Ten classes had the opportunity to attend a School Performance Tours presentation. During 'Rap, Rhyme and Rockin' Poetry' and students enjoyed dancing, telling jokes and having fun together with Andy the presenter.

A reminder that tomorrow is Dress-Up Day for Book Week!
We’d love to see all our students dressed as their favourite book characters.

👗 Costume Parade: 9:00am in the undercover area, families are warmly invited to join us from 9:00am - 9.10am.

The amazing Brianna has been in Hobart this past week competing in the National Sport Aerobics / Dance Championships. Congratulations to Brianna for her outstanding performances, receiving 2x Gold, 2x Silver and 1x 4th position. All Brianna’s hard work and determination has paid off. Well done Brianna, we are so proud of you ⭐️⭐️⭐️
