We’ve partnered again with The University of Queensland, hosting experienced physiotherapists completing their Masters of Sports Physiotherapy. This is the same qualification required to work with Olympic and elite athletes, and their clinical placements focus on sports-specific rehab and performance-based recovery.

What you get:
✅ 60-minute assessment and treatment

If you’re rehabbing a knee, build your quads.

They’re the main muscle that controls and supports the knee. They absorb load when you walk, run, land, go downstairs, and change direction.

After injury, quads switch off fast. Pain and swelling reduce strength quickly, and normal daily activity won’t bring it back.
Strong quads help:

• Reduce pain
• Improve stability
• Increase confidence
• Get you back to running and sport

It’s not just about making the knee feel better. It’s about rebuilding strength so it can handle load again.

Shoulder assessment isn’t about finding something “out of place”

It’s about understanding irritability, load tolerance and task demand.

From a physio perspective we’re asking:
• What movements reproduce symptoms?
• At what load and speed?
• How irritable is it and how quickly does it settle?
• What does strength look like through range?
• What does your sport or training actually require?

A painful shoulder isn’t automatically unstable, impinged or weak. It might simply be underprepared for the demands placed on it.

Assessment guides dosage.
Rehab builds capacity.
Return to performance means matching the demands, not just settling pain.

🎉 Huge congratulations to Megan on officially discharging from our rehab program!

After a challenging patella femoral dislocation and extensive injury, Megan worked incredibly hard over six months of rehab, including surgery, to regain stability and mobility. Getting full extension back was no easy feat. seriously, really hard. but she tackled every challenge with grit and determination. 💪

Her journey is a perfect example of what multidisciplinary care can achieve. Bridie, Elyse, Ariel, Freya, and Bridget all played a part, and it was the collaboration of the whole team that helped her reach this milestone.

What makes Megan’s story even more inspiring? She’s a highly respected paediatric rheumatologist, a mother of two, and somehow still managed to show up to every session giving 100%. Her dedication, resilience, and hard work set a standard for all of us. 🙌

Here’s to strength, perseverance, and finishing what you start! 🏆
