🙋🏻‍♀️ THIS ONE IS FOR THE MIDWIVES 🙋🏻‍♀️

💎 We are an extremely valuable profession, and work for a long (LONG) time to become confident, competent, highly skilled professionals whilst keeping women and their families at the heart of everything we do ❤️

🧗🏼‍♀️In my travels I speak to so many Midwives about their desire to take a leap of faith and forge new horizons, but feel constrained by all the other things in our lives we love that might not be so easy to take along for the ride.

💫 And to that I would say; there is there IS NO BETTER TIME to be an adventurous, brave or “off the beaten track” Midwife.

♾️ The opportunities are, quite frankly, infinite. And the where/for how long/under what circumstances are all worth talking to someone about, rather than just listening to hearsay (newsflash it’s often inaccurate and not helpful!).

To our amazing Southside community,

This wonderfully magical place saw two of my children nurtured, encouraged and loved in their first move away from being cared for by Mum and Dad.

I would highly recommend learning about what they do (and I don’t recommend anything!), meet the magical humans behind the beautiful facade and jump on the waitlist (which is usually a mile long!).

Hi, I’m Bec 💁🏼‍♀️

🥳 I’m so excited to be the newest member of the MoM team!

👩🏼‍⚕️ I’m a Registered Nurse and Midwife with over 10 years experience working with women and their families in the perinatal space.

🌍 I’ve worked in both large capital city hospitals and regional and remote communities across Australia, which has given me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges families face in different settings.

🤰🏿Working across these environments has strengthened commitment to providing safe, evidence-based woman-centred care. Whether in a busy metropolitan unit or a smaller rural service, my focus is always on ensuring women feel supported, respected and informed.

💫 I’m especially committed to childbirth education and the empowerment of women and their families. Education creates choice and choice creates confidence. For me, midwifery is about more than clinical skills, it’s about advocacy, trust and creating a safe space where women feel heard.

❤️ That’s why I’m so excited to join the MoM team! I feel incredibly privileged to support women as they step into motherhood feeling strong, informed and empowered.

Hello, Im Cassandra 🙋🏻‍♀️

🏥 I’m a registered Nurse, Midwife, Mum who is deeply passionate about helping families feel educated, confident, and supported as they prepare to welcome a new baby. 👶🏻

❤️‍🩹 After years working within health systems, I saw firsthand the gaps that were affecting birthing people during the perinatal period both professionally and personally and knew something had to change.

💫 I’m now so grateful to be working alongside Robyn and the MoM team to reshape the way birth education is delivered. And together, we’re bringing fun, realistic, and empowering education to families so you and your loved ones can feel truly informed, supported, and ready not just for pregnancy and birth;

✨ MEET OUR BEAUTIFUL NEW MoM ✨

Hi I’m Naomi! 🙋🏾‍♀️

I’m the newest member of the MoM team.

I’m a Mum and Registered Midwife with a background in Social Work.

I’ve spent the past 11 years working in Meanjin (Brisbane) with women and families across various settings.

I was born in India, grew up in the Middle East, and moved to Australia when I was 13, calling Turrbal Country, Meanjin (Brisbane) home ever since.

Practicing as a Social Worker led me to my path of Midwifery.

And I truly love what I do.

Knowledge is power, but the sheer amount of knowledge available is overwhelming. I believe through examination of our fears, hopes, capacity and capabilities, birthing people can make informed decisions for themselves and their families 🫶🏽.

I hope to equip families with knowledge and confidence as they embark on parenthood.

However your birth journey unfolds and whatever your choices, I want you to feel cared for. 💫
