✨ MEET OUR BEAUTIFUL NEW MoM ✨

Hi I’m Naomi! 🙋🏾‍♀️

I’m the newest member of the MoM team.

I’m a Mum and Registered Midwife with a background in Social Work.

I’ve spent the past 11 years working in Meanjin (Brisbane) with women and families across various settings.

I was born in India, grew up in the Middle East, and moved to Australia when I was 13, calling Turrbal Country, Meanjin (Brisbane) home ever since.

Practicing as a Social Worker led me to my path of Midwifery.

And I truly love what I do.

Knowledge is power, but the sheer amount of knowledge available is overwhelming. I believe through examination of our fears, hopes, capacity and capabilities, birthing people can make informed decisions for themselves and their families 🫶🏽.

I hope to equip families with knowledge and confidence as they embark on parenthood.

However your birth journey unfolds and whatever your choices, I want you to feel cared for. 💫

💫 OUR MAGICAL NEW MOM MIDWIFE 💫

Hello, Im Cassandra 🙋🏻‍♀️

🏥 I’m a registered Nurse, Midwife, Mum who is deeply passionate about helping families feel educated, confident, and supported as they prepare to welcome a new baby. 👶🏻

❤️‍🩹 After years working within health systems, I saw firsthand the gaps that were affecting birthing people during the perinatal period both professionally and personally and knew something had to change.

💫 I’m now so grateful to be working alongside Robyn and the MoM team to reshape the way birth education is delivered. And together, we’re bringing fun, realistic, and empowering education to families so you and your loved ones can feel truly informed, supported, and ready not just for pregnancy and birth;
but for the beautiful, unpredictable adventure of parenthood! 💕

📣 OK OK, WE HEAR YOU LOUD & CLEAR! 📣

🙅🏻‍♀️If you know us, one of our mottos is “no one left behind”. And after some very enthusiastic requests, we have decided on THE VERY LAST addition of our 2025 class calendar, and opened up a Talk Postpartum To Me workshop for Monday December 1st at the one and only .mamas.

💎 This one of a kind workshop will cover the often under planned for (and extremely important) parts of the transition from pre, to post birth life. In this three hour power session we will cover;

😴 Sleep and settling - we are going to break down the bu****it surrounding normal infant behaviour and provide you with practical and achievable strategies to optimise rest and recovery for all members of the family

NOTE: we will not be discussing sleep training or popular “sleep promoting” products.

🤱🏾In depth feeding preparation for both breastfeeding and alternative feeding parents.

👯‍♀️Social considerations - strategies to establish deep and rich connections in the midst of unprecedented identity, role and hormonal shifts.

🧘🏻‍♀️Physical adaptations and how to support recovery - newsflash, it’s not just about buying compression shorts!

👩‍❤️‍👩 Changing relationship dynamics and how to prepare for the seismic shift of becoming your little baby’s whole world.

Over the past three and a half years, we have educated over 1800 students in preparation for labour, birth and the immediate postnatal period - we CANNOT wait to bring our special brand of MoM education to an area we are SO SO passionate about.
