Our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills groups launched in October led by Alannah Konners, our provisional psychologist!

Across 8 weeks, Alannah is guiding small groups of just 3-4 participants through core DBT skills, including:
🧘 Mindfulness
🌊 Emotion Regulation
🔥 Distress Tolerance
🤝 Interpersonal Effectiveness

The goal is to teach practical strategies to:
• Manage overwhelming emotions
• Reduce impulsive reactions
• Strengthen communication + boundaries
• Build greater self-awareness

A very warm welcome to Kate Miller!

Kate joins Presence of Mind Psychology as a Clinical Psychologist who brings a warm, empathetic and collaborative approach to therapy.

With many years of experience, she helps clients (17+) navigate anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship stress and major life transitions.

Kate tailors her work to each person, drawing on CBT, Mindfulness, and Schema Therapy to build confidence, insight, and meaningful change.

We’re so glad to have her on the team!
