All of those nutrients are all vital in supporting you thyroid in functioning optimally. Lack of those in your body can in itself cause hypothyroidism.

Make sure to get those tested via a simple blood test whilst you are getting your thyroid tested.

Remember, T4 to T3 conversion happens about 80% in the liver and hardly at all in the thyroid! So a good liver is essential for that to work properly. Stress causes the flight, flight or freeze response which shuts down your liver. That's OK to escape a tiger, but it's not OK in the modern world where we perceive stress everywhere.

Very good, but he tosses aside lack of sleep, hypothyroidism and a few other things too quickly as they all contribute to this problem ie. lack of sleep is a big contributor to stress, thyroid problems, weight gain, poor diet and diabetes. the latter of which he says is the main cause. He needs to dig a little deeper!

BigPharma doesn't want you to know about T3 supplementation, because it works. They would much rather sell you anti-depressant's and anti-anxiety meds which does nothing for your disease but does great things for their bottom line. Be very well aware of their scare tactics!
