“A year and four months ago, I took the plunge and visited Hair Transplant Australia for a hair transplant. I was really nervous and unsure how it would turn out. Dr Alam, Zoe, and the team were fantastic. It was a big day, and there was a clear process to follow.
To be honest, I was worried—what if the hair didn’t grow? What if I’d spent all this money for little or no results?
But as you can see from the images I’ve attached, the proof is in the pudding. Lately, I’ve been getting so many comments from people who know me but don’t recognise me - and they all say how great my hair looks!
As a child, I had a thick head of hair and loved it. Over time, I watched it slowly recede and thought that was the end of the road—until this procedure. Now, I talk openly about the process with others and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
I have friends who’ve considered going overseas for a transplant. Sure, it’s an option—but many of them have faced issues or ended up with results that didn’t look as good. In fact, one of those friends ended up seeing Dr Alam after being disappointed with their overseas results—and it was clear the difference in quality.
I guess you get what you pay for.
If you’re considering a hair transplant, I can honestly say my experience has been incredible. 16 months in and it’s still getting thicker. The results have had a huge impact on my confidence and my life.
