We are so excited to announce we have now opened for business in Brisbane Queensland.
Starting tomorrow we will be supporting an amazing young man on his journey, working towards his goals and increasing his community engagement and daily living support.

SUPPORT WORKER

Make a difference in your local community.
•Life experience is essential.
•Knowledge of Community Services.
•Disability experience is not essential but regarded.
•Mental Health experience is not essential but regarded.
•First Aid, WWC (Working with Children), Drivers Licence, Police Check, RW vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
•Experience with home duties, cleaning, cooking, and daily life skills.
•Must be reliable with flexible hours available.

Support Worker Role:
You will support people with a disability to assist them in achieving their goals, increase their independence, and participate in community life.
The support may be one-on-one or group, in the person's home, or public.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:
Enhance opportunities for people to participate in community activities,
assist participants in developing and maintaining life skills and/or pre-vocational skill sets as identified in their NDIS plan,
encourage social and communication skills for participants through recreation and leisure activities.

We are looking for people who:
•Have values like ours and BRAVE people, but there is no specific 'mold' you need to fit (we need a team as diverse as our customers.)
• Have completed the NDIS Support Worker Orientation Module or willingness to complete it before commencing.
• Have the capacity to meet the physical requirements of the job, which may include manual handling tasks.
• Enjoy working in a small team environment and independently if required.
• Have good computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Have a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality.
• Intermediate computer and word processing skills using Google software and apps.
• First Aid and CPR certificate or willing to complete
• Have access to a laptop or desktop for report writing and to attend Teams meetings if needed.
• Have a smartphone to download our client access app.
