An afternoon and evening of quiet reflection in the library. Creating time and space to write some mid year reflections swirling in my heart and mind.

Coming back to the word that would embody my intention for the year which is Tenderness.

Practicing not only existing with this feeling but rather what it means to fully embrace tenderness within myself and all that life has presents to me.

Many musings and tea to be had tonight while the winds of change swirl outside….

Tasmania, we 🫶 you so much.

A favourite place for a short break to refresh the spirit….And we sure experienced it all this time round, from the depths of natures beauty, to the most amazing food with a mix of Art culture at

1. Sound on 🔊 natures beauty. Such majesty in the winter season.

2. Secret garden vibes. All of my favourite stories start with a vision of a doorway in a garden wall.

3. The most stunning Ginko tree. That colour 😍

4. Gathering inspiration for the home garden.

5. My love 🌷

6. One of our favourite spots to return

7. The best Chai I’ve ever had in a side street cafe.

8. Winter feast

9. The most incredible food everrrrrrrr 🤤 cacio el Pepe with caramelised haloumi

10. Dark Park

11. Sound on 🔊This was super intense. But what an experience. I was oscillating from awe, transcendence, to fear and overwhelm. Alan lasted a lot longer in here than me 😬

12. More Dark M**o experiences.

13. A festival of art, expression, deep dualities - in alignment with the winter solstice

14. My Hobart bookshop finds . I had a lot of fun finding some gems from I could have stayed there allllll day.

Tassie! We’ll be back soon ♥️

Some of my latest reads.

A mixture of philosophy, spiritual inquiry, creative inspiration and comfort.

I often read children’s books to bring comfort and calm on days I’m extra tender. Brambly Hedge is one of my faves 🍓

I love when people share with me what they are reading.

Maybe one of these will interest you and open a door of possibility, creativity and contemplation. Lots of books in this pile for my fellow flower lovers.

Happy reading 🌸

A quiet moment on a Sunday afternoon pressing flowers for an upcoming event - “An afternoon in reflection - a journal series” that I am holding at in a few weeks.

These Delphiniums have graced reception all week and now it’s time to continue honouring their beauty as they begin to dry.

watch this space with what I create🤞😆 I hope my vision works.

Afternoon storms have me nestling into the library at home, absolutely devouring this book.

Oh my gosh it’s good! Of course, personal to stories you resonate with but this one is giving me all the vibes. The way it’s written in balance between human and nature speaking is so beautiful.

Also having already had such a deep fascination around Greek and Turkish culture this book explores so much around the histories and conflicts that ensued between these lands. I’ll share more of my thoughts once I finish it but so far this is definitely one I would add to your holiday reading list.
