Window of Tolerance 🪟
Before you ask:
“What’s wrong with me?”
Ask:
“Am I outside my window?”
Hyper-aroused = anxious, reactive, overwhelmed.
Hypo-aroused = numb, shut down, disconnected.
When you’re outside your window, logic doesn’t work well.
Regulate first.
Problem-solve second.
Your nervous system isn’t broken.
It’s protective.
