We call it the Toy Room – but these gadgets are doing some serious work for your eye health 👁️

Inside, you’ll find several key machines:

The OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography): shines a light to capture detailed images of the back of your eye, helping us spot conditions like macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy.

The IOL Master: measures the length of your eye and helps us plan for precise lens implants, especially important for cataract surgery.

The Aberrometer (pictured): a handy tool to measure refractive errors, or aberrations in the eye.

All part of a thorough eye exam – no poking required.

Meet Jason Holland who is one of the Dry Eye Optometrists along with, Optometrists Jessica and Shon. Oculuxe Clinic works parallel to The Eye Health Centre, neighbouring our Wickham Terrace practice and offering cutting-edge therapies like IPL and LLLT to support patients with dry eye and tear film dysfunction.

Meet Dr. Gurmit Uppal, one of our highly skilled eye surgeons with a special interest in cataracts and vitreo-retinal surgeries, backed by a research background in macular surgery.

An esteemed member of our team, Dr. Uppal works out of our Aspley, Springfield and Wickham Terrace rooms and takes great pride in every patient outcome, ensuring both comfort and expertise in all the surgeries he performs.
