Over the past three decades, I have worked as a health professional in a myriad of clinical, managerial, educational and academic roles. Through my experiences of providing sensitive care to people balancing their mental health, acute/chronic health issues and traumatic injuries, I have shaped and honed a deeply empathetic approach to therapy. My focus is to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship with a person, to build trust, and hold a safe space. I sit with people, listening intently, without judgement, in a trusting and caring way. I am interested in all areas of counselling, and I have an avid professional, academic and personal interest in autism. Qualifications:
