Welcome to The Sunday Stretch ... something just a little different today - Assisted Stretching!

Stretching is awesome, but you don't always need to do it alone ... sometimes a little help makes the stretch more effective!

From that standpoint, did you know that we can always incorporate some Assisted Stretching into your Remedial Massage Treatment?

Assisted Stretching as part of a Massage Treatment is best done completely passively ... that means - The Therapist controls the movement, and the Client remains completely relaxed and passive. If you can't be completely relaxed during an Assisted Stretch - it won't be as effective, and it might actually be a little uncomfortable ... as if you were fighting or resisting against the stretch ... and that's not helpful for anyone ...👍🤓😇🥰

Welcome to The Sunday Stretch ... 2 Stretches again this week because they compliment each other very well, and help keep you balanced - the Rotating Neck Stretch & the Lateral Neck Stretch!

I chose these stretches today because so many people come in for treatment complaining of sore & tight neck & shoulders .... These stretches are also very effective for managing the tension associated with stress.

Stretching is something you can do for yourself to keep your body moving more comfortably... but of course - stretching doesn't replace the awesome feeling you get from a great Massage Treatment.👍🤓😇🥰

As always when I use these stretches - I want to give credit for the image to the owner of the content - referencing I guess to ensure I am not misunderstood for trying to claim these stretches for myself ... I copied these images from the Stretch Charts I used to have in my Treatment Room.
