👩‍⚕️✈️ After two incredible weeks at the Cebu Centre of Excellence, volunteer nurse Stacey is on her way home to Australia 💙

During her time in Cebu, Stacey worked alongside the amazing local team, helped care for patients receiving life-changing surgery, and shared her knowledge with local nurses through hands-on education and mentoring. 🌏💉📚

We are so grateful for her compassion, expertise, and the lasting impact she’s made — not only on the patients and families, but on the healthcare community in the Philippines. 💛

As they close the chapter on their business, Love Ellis Rose, we want to take a moment to honour the incredible impact they’ve made through their generous support of Operation Smile Australia.

Since 2020, Love Ellis Rose has donated nearly $10,000 to help children receive life-changing cleft surgery. But their contribution goes far beyond dollars — they’ve given their time, donated vouchers, and shared our mission with their community.

Operation Smile Australia is a cause close to Kurt and Keiara’s hearts, as their daughter was born with a cleft condition. Through their kindness and advocacy, they’ve helped give so many other children the same chance to smile.

💫 This week, we had the honour of presenting Sister Angela Mary Doyle AO with a special recognition from Dr Richard Lewandowski on behalf of Operation Smile Australia.

💫 Sister Angela’s unwavering support, alongside the Mater Hospital, has been instrumental in our journey as a charity. Her lifelong advocacy for the vulnerable - from those living with HIV/AIDS to new immigrants and First Nations communities - has inspired generations of healthcare professionals, including our own volunteers.


💫 We gathered for a morning tea filled with gratitude, laughter and heartfelt stories, celebrating a woman whose compassion has changed countless lives.
