Tomorrow - 22nd August is the full moon in Australia. I have created this meditation for you to include a meditation practice as part of your full moon ritual / activity.
We often set a new intention at new moon for the month coming. As the new moon marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle and often brings with it an array of new beginnings. This leaves new moons feeling like a particularly ideal time for self-reflection, course correction and goal-setting.
Whereas for the full moon, it represents the ending of a moon cycle. Which means it is an auspicious time to cleanse, and release anything that are no longer serving you in a positive way. Time to release and practice letting go...
The illuminous fullness of the moon represents wholeness. Energy is abundant during any full moon, so a wonderful way to celebrate this lunar phase is to simply find stillness through meditation and breath.
It is also a perfect time to cleanse your space, your body, and your mind, kick back and relax.
Sometimes we need stillness to fully observe what’s happening around us, to notice how we feel, to discover the opportunities that’ve been lurking right under our noses. Remember, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be—so revel in it, for a moment.
