What a way to celebrate International Pilates Day 🤍

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our free park session on Saturday — we were lucky enough to be treated to a beautiful morning (yes, the rain held off 🙌) and an incredible session led by the wonderful Maeve.

Moments like this remind us why we love what we do — moving together, feeling stronger, and connecting as a community.

This ANZAC Day, we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served.

It’s knowing why, be clear about this and being able to articulate it.

When you know exactly why you’re showing up — everything changes.
Your effort has direction.
Your training has purpose.
Your bad days don’t win.

The difference isn’t in the program.
It’s in the reason behind it.

So before your next session, ask yourself:
What am I actually here for?

Because when that answer is clear —
you don’t just go through the motions… you move with intent.

We’ve updated our team photos to reflect the people behind You Physio & Health — with some new faces on our front of house team. (Also noted we couldn't get our entire admin team here for the shoot 😅 negotiating uni and placement timetables is HARD!)

Ever feel like your hamstrings are “tight”… but stretching just isn’t cutting it?

Try this 👇

A simple trigger ball under the foot can unlock more than you think.

Rolling through the sole stimulates baroreceptors — pressure-sensitive nerve endings that help calm the nervous system and reduce muscle tension. In simple terms: you’re telling your body it’s safe to relax.

Here’s the interesting part…
Your body is connected through a fascial chain running from the foot → calves → hamstrings → glutes → back.

When you ease tension at the foot, you can often create change further up the chain — including improving hamstring length and your ability to reach.

That’s why this works so well before:
• Running
• Lifting
• Stretching
• Or just loosening up after a long day

It’s quick, targeted, and works with your body — not against it.

Give it 60–90 seconds per side, then re-test your reach.

Small input. Big return.

We’re saying goodbye to our incredible Laura as she heads over to Perth to start a new chapter and reunite with her partner ❤️

While we’re so excited for what’s ahead for her, we’ll definitely feel the loss here — her skill, energy, and care have made such an impact over the past year.

Laura, thank you for everything you’ve given to our team and our clients. We wish you all the very best for this next adventure out west 🌅
