🧠 Brain Injury Awareness Week (18–24 August 2025)

This week is a time to recognise the challenges faced by people living with brain injuries, and to stand alongside survivors, their families, and carers.

Did you know:
• Around 1 in 45 Australians are living with a brain injury
• Common causes include falls (39%), car and cycling accidents (31%), and assaults (12%)
• Brain injuries can profoundly affect memory, concentration, emotions, and daily function, yet they often go unseen

Support makes all the difference, whether it’s through understanding, inclusion, or advocacy. By raising awareness, we can help create communities where every individual feels seen, valued, and supported. 💜
