If you are always putting everyone else first, saying yes when you want to say no, or even letting your family choose the movie, you might be living with Burnt Toast Syndrome.

A client of mine realised during her coaching session that she could start saying yes to herself, stand by her choices, and stop letting others get the perfectly toasted piece while she gets the burnt one.

It is possible to enjoy life on your own terms.

BUSINESS LEADERS: During times of uncertainty or indecision, don’t use your team as a sounding board.

Your team need you to lead with confidence. If you need a sounding board, speak to your coach. And if you don’t have a coach, you’re welcome to have a complimentary chat with me to see if we’re a good fit.

Do you find yourself constantly explaining or justifying your choices at work?

A client I coached recently recognised this habit in herself. She had spent years over explaining decisions, trying to keep everyone happy. But when she finally decided to resign from one of her two roles, she simply said, “I’m going.” No justification. No seeking approval. Coaching helped her realise she didn’t need anyone’s permission to choose what was right for her.

As professionals, we often mistake justification for accountability, but they are not the same thing. You can act with integrity and confidence without explaining yourself at every turn.

You don’t owe lengthy explanations for decisions made thoughtfully and with purpose. That is leadership.

If you are ready to make clear and confident decisions without second guessing yourself, visit my website to explore coaching options.

Do you ever feel guilty doing something just for you?

A client I coached recently realised that committing to her own growth wasn’t selfish at all, it was self-care. Taking time for yourself, whether it’s coaching, learning, reflecting or simply stepping back, gives you the clarity, energy and motivation to show up fully in life.

And when you’re resourced and grounded, you actually have so much more to give. It’s a win–win. But it starts with you.

Committing to you isn’t selfish. It’s essential.

If this resonates and you’re ready to invest in yourself without the guilt, book a free Clarity Call and we can explore what support might look like for you.

Success is a bit like panning for gold.

You want progress, growth and results, but sometimes all you get is dirt. Mistakes. Dead ends. Effort that feels wasted.

That is okay. You cannot get gold without sometimes getting no gold. Every handful of dirt teaches you something, strengthens you and gets you closer to what you are looking for.

Keep panning. Keep showing up. The effort, and you, are worth it.

If you are ready to build your confidence and trust your process, book a free Clarity Call on my website.

Why does leadership often feel so isolating?

When you’re the one carrying the vision, making the decisions, and guiding others, leadership can feel lonely.

Here’s why:
* The weight of responsibility is heavy.
* Honest feedback is hard to come by.
* Few truly understand the challenges you face.

My High Performers Coaching Program gives leaders a safe, non judgemental space to reflect, strategise, and grow.

Do you ever worry that owning your success will make you seem big headed or too big for your boots?

So you hold back, downplay your achievements and brush off praise. But then when you do succeed, imposter syndrome creeps in, making you second guess yourself and wonder if you have overstepped.

Here is the truth, you never needed to worry. When handled well, imposter syndrome does not mean you have an ego. It can actually keep you balanced, striving for growth while staying grounded. The key is to let it temper you, not stop you.
You can be humble and confident at the same time.

If this sounds familiar, I have a free quiz to help you understand which style of imposter thinking is holding you back.

I was watching an episode of House and a line really stuck with me.
Not about death, but about what we’re left feeling.
It made me wonder how often we think about that.
Not what we achieve or say, but the emotional tone we’re actually living in day to day.
If you’re honest, are your current choices taking you towards the feeling you want to end up with, or just keeping you busy?
If this question hits close to home, you can explore it further through one of my free quizzes on my website.

Do you ever feel like an imposter in your own success story?

Imposter Syndrome doesn’t discriminate—it affects even the best of the best.

High performers often face:
👉🏼 Constant pressure to be at the top.
👉🏼 Perfectionism that feeds self-doubt.
👉🏼 Fear of being found out, even when their results prove otherwise.

You’re not alone, and you don’t have to stay stuck in self-doubt.

✨ My High Performers Coaching Program helps you build confidence, own your success, and quiet the doubts holding you back.
