Not all trauma looks the way you expect
When people hear the word trauma, they tend to picture something big.
Something obvious.
Something that clearly changed a life.
But not all experiences that affect you show up like that.
Some are quieter.
Less visible.
Easy to dismiss in the moment.
They show up as repeated, everyday experiences that don’t feel significant on their own, but don’t quite sit right either.
Over time, those moments add up.
When something repeats often enough, it starts to leave a mark.
That’s where micro trauma comes in.
It’s subtle, but it can still influence how you think, how you feel, and how you respond.
And over time, it can start to shape your confidence in ways that are hard to explain if you’re only looking for one big reason.
